Conformity of Law. Any provision of this Agreement which conflicts with state or federal law is hereby amended to conform to the requirements of such law.
Conformity of Law. In furtherance of this Agreement, both Parties shall comply with all U.S. government laws and regulations, including conformity with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.

This Agreement is subject in all respects to the laws of the United States and the State of Michigan with respect to the powers, rights, duties and obligations of the Board, the Association and employees in the bargaining unit; and in the event that any provision of this Agreement shall at any time be held to be contrary to law by a Court of competent jurisdiction from whose final judgment or decree no appeal has been taken within the time provided for doing so, such provision shall be void and inoperative; however, all other provisions of the Agreement shall continue in effect and the parties shall meet upon the request of either party to renegotiate the provisions affected.

If any provision of this Labor Agreement or any application of the Contract to any employee or group of employees shall be found contrary to law, then such provision or application shall not be deemed valid and subsisting except to the extent permitted by law, but all other provisions or applications shall continue in full force and effect.

If any article or part of this agreement is held to be contrary to law by a court of competent jurisdiction, or if compliance with or enforcement of any article or part should be restrained by such court, the remainder of the agreement shall not be affected, thereby, and the parties shall immediately enter into negotiations for the purpose of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for the nullified article.
Conformity of Law. If in the event that any provision of this agreement is, or shall be at any time, contrary to all applicable laws, or Rules and Regulations of the Board of Regents or Commissioner of Education, that provision shall not be applicable, but all other items shall remain in effect.
Conformity of Law. This Agreement shall be governed and construed according to the Constitution and Laws of the State of Washington. If any provision of this Agreement, or any application of this Agreement to any Certificated employee or groups of Certificated employees covered hereby shall be found contrary to law by a tribunal of competent jurisdiction, such provision or application shall have effect only to the extent permitted by law, but all other provisions or applications of this Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
Conformity of Law. If any provisions of this Agreement or any application thereof to any Unit II member is held to be contrary to law by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision or application will not be deemed valid and subsisting, except to the extent permitted by law, but all other provisions or applications will continue in full force and effect.
Conformity of Law. Should any article, section, or clause of the Agreement be declared illegal by a court of competent jurisdiction, said article, section, or clause, as the case may be, shall be automatically deleted from the Agreement to the extent it violates the law. The remaining articles, sections, and clauses shall remain in full force and effect for the duration of the Agreement.
Conformity of Law. 16.1 If the enactment of legislation's, or any determination by a court of final and competent jurisdiction (whether in a proceeding between the parties or in one not between the parties but controlling by reason of the facts) renders any portion of this Agreement invalid or unenforceable, such legislation or decision shall not effect the validity of the surviving provision of the Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect as if such invalid provision(s) thereof had not been included herein.
