Conformity of Law. This Agreement is subject in all respects to the laws of the United States and the State of Michigan with respect to the powers, rights, duties and obligations of the Board, the Association and employees in the bargaining unit; and in the event that any provision of this Agreement shall at any time be held to be contrary to law by a Court of competent jurisdiction from whose final judgment or decree no appeal has been taken within the time provided for doing so, such provision shall be void and inoperative; however, all other provisions of the Agreement shall continue in effect and the parties shall meet upon the request of either party to renegotiate the provisions affected.
