  • Community Participation Goods, works, and services required for Part B.2 of the Project may be procured on the basis of community participation in accordance with rules and procedures acceptable to the Association, as set forth in the PIP.

  • Committee Participation 9.01 Except as otherwise provided in this Collective Agreement, an Employee (or the Employee’s alternate) who is a member and attends meetings of a committee established by the Employer, shall be paid at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for attendance at such meetings. Such participation shall be voluntary.

  • Joint Labor/Management Committees Purpose and Membership. Joint Labor/Management Committees are established to provide a forum for communications and problem-solving between the two parties and to deal with matters of a general personnel Union/Employer concern, as well as professional practices within the hospital related to patient care and professional issues. The Committees will work toward the improvement of patient care and recommend ways and means to improve patient care; and will address problems and concerns related to staffing and workloads. The Committees’ function will be limited to an advisory capacity and shall not include any decision making or collective bargaining authority. Committee memberships:

  • Education Committee (a) The Employer will establish an Education Committee for all employees in the facility, which shall include at least one representative from ONA members.

  • Special Education Committee The parties agree to establish a committee comprised of representatives from ETFO, the Ministry of Education and school board leadership in the area of special education. Additional representatives may be invited as resources to the committee as needed. The committee will discuss current issues as identified by the parties related to supporting students with special education needs. The committee shall meet regularly commencing no later than November 30, 2015 and recommendations will be made to the Minister of Education by April 30, 2016. Terms of reference will be jointly developed to inform the scope of discussions and recommendations. Permission to leave work during working hours for such purposes shall first be obtained from the immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. All time spent in performing such Union duties, including work performed on various committees, as referred to in this Agreement, shall be considered as time worked.

  • UNION COMMITTEES Union Committees as provided for in this Agreement, will be of a size that will not unduly curtail production.
