Commitment to Training and Careers. (a) The parties commit themselves to continuing and upgrading the training provided to employees. It is agreed that the parties will co-operate in ensuring that training is maintained and improved. This training will form the basis of an enhanced career structure in the industry.

Commitment to Training and Careers. The parties acknowledge that training and education for staff is an important part of ensuring that staff not only remain competent in their position but also continue to develop. Training both on the job and through external providers will be provided as appropriate. As a general rule, individual employee performance and development reviews will be conducted annually. Staff will be consulted regarding their training needs and as a minimum, each staff member will be required to attend/complete the compulsory modules identified by each site on an annual basis. These modules may include:  Customer ServiceManual HandlingFire SafetyWork place Health & SafetyWorkplace Diversity Time to undertake these compulsory modules will be allowed for during paid working time.
