CHIP eligibility and enrollment. (a) Term of coverage. The Administrative Services Contractor determines CHIP eligibility on behalf of HHSC. The Administrative Services Contractor will enroll and disenroll eligible individuals into and out of CHIP. CHIP Members with an Effective Date of Coverage on or after September 1, 2007 will have twelve (12) months of coverage. CHIP Members with an Effective Date of Coverage prior to September 1, 2007 will be required to re-enroll in the CHIP Program at the end of their six month coverage period, at which point they will have a new Effective Date of Coverage and twelve (12) months of coverage.

CHIP eligibility and enrollment. (a) Term of coverage. The HHSC Administrative Services Contractor determines CHIP eligibility on HHSC’s behalf. The HHSC Administrative Services Contractor will enroll and disenroll eligible individuals into and out of CHIP.
CHIP eligibility and enrollment. (a) Continuous coverage. Except as provided in 1 T.A.C. §370.307, a child who is CHIP-eligible will have six (6) months of continuous coverage. Children enrolling in CHIP for the first time, or returning to CHIP after disenrollment, will be subject to a waiting period before coverage actually begins, except as provided in 1 T.A.C. §370.46. The waiting period for a child is determined by the date on which he/she is found eligible for CHIP, and extends for a duration of three months. If the child is found eligible for CHIP on or before the 15th day of a month, then the waiting period begins on the first day of that same month. If the child is found eligible on or after the 16th day of a month, then the waiting period begins on the first day of the next month.
CHIP eligibility and enrollment. (a) Children enrolled in the CHIP Program with incomes at or below the Medicaid eligibility threshold receive Dental Program coverage for 12 months. Children enrolled in CHIP with incomes above the Medicaid eligibility threshold receive Dental Program coverage for up to 12 months and are required to verify income eligibility at month 6 of their 12 month coverage period.

  • Employee Eligibility Verification The Contractor warrants that it fully complies with all Federal and State statutes and regulations regarding the employment of aliens and others and that all its employees performing work under this Contract meet the citizenship or alien status requirement set forth in Federal statutes and regulations. The Contractor shall obtain, from all employees performing work hereunder, all verification and other documentation of employment eligibility status required by Federal or State statutes and regulations including, but not limited to, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986, 8 U.S.C. §1324 et seq., as they currently exist and as they may be hereafter amended. The Contractor shall retain all such documentation for all covered employees for the period prescribed by the law. The Contractor shall indemnify, defend with counsel approved in writing by County, and hold harmless, the County, its agents, officers, and employees from employer sanctions and any other liability which may be assessed against the Contractor or the County or both in connection with any alleged violation of any Federal or State statutes or regulations pertaining to the eligibility for employment of any persons performing work under this Contract.

  • Benefit Eligibility For purposes of the Benefit Plan entitlement, common-law and same sex relationships will apply as defined.
