Bullying is any repeated or systematic behaviour, physical, verbal or physical conduct that over a periodpsychological including shunning, continuously and systemically, humiliates, intimidates, shows hostility towards, threatens or offends a person, and that which would be seen by a reasonable person would know as intending to belittle, intimidate, coerce or ought to have known would have such an effectisolate another person. Personal harassment and/or bullying does not include acceptable social banter in the workplace. Nor does it include actions occasioned through the exercise in good faith of management’s rights for bona fide operational requirements or progressive corrective discipline in a manner that is respectful of those involved.
