STAFF ORIENTATION. 4101 The Employer shall provide an appropriate orientation program for nurses newly employed. The orientation program shall include such essential information as policies, nursing procedures, the location of supplies and equipment, fire, safety and disaster plans. Where necessary, orientation shall be provided for nurses moving to a new area of practice. 4102 The Employer shall provide a program of inservice education for nurses pertinent to patient care. 4103 The Employer shall provide, access to reference materials as is required in relation to maintaining current knowledge of general nursing care. STAFF ORIENTATION. All staff shall receive a program orientation that includes information on program goals and objectives, policies and procedures, job duties and responsibilities and standards of performance. All employee files shall contain signed confirmation that an orientation was provided that meets these requirements.
STAFF ORIENTATION. 1. All members new to the staff of the Board shall receive within the first thirty (30) days of commencing duties an orientation provided by the Board and the Union. The orientation shall acquaint employees with the basic operation of the school district and the school as well as the rights and responsibilities of the Collective Agreement. The Board shall provide release time for the teachers new to the district to attend staff orientation.
STAFF ORIENTATION. 1. All employees new to the staff of the Board shall receive orientation provided by the Board and the Association.

Further, an orientation program shall be provided upon request for nurses returning from an extended leave of absence or moving to a new area of practice. Notwithstanding the above, specialty areas may require extended orientation programs. 4102 The Employer shall provide a program of inservice education for nurses pertinent to patient/resident/client care. Such program of inservice shall be of sufficient nature to properly familiarize the nurse with all relevant aspects of duties and responsibilities. 4103 The Employer shall provide, access to reference materials as is required in relation to maintaining current knowledge of general nursing care.
STAFF ORIENTATION. The Board and the Association shall design and provide an orientation program for new teachers. The orientation shall acquaint employees with the basic operation of the Board as well as the rights and responsibilities of the Collective Agreement.
STAFF ORIENTATION. 1. A staff orientation, for newly hired continuing and term teachers commencing duties in that year, shall be held at a time mutually agreed to by the Board and the Association no later than November 1st.
