Common use of Benefit Accrual Clause in Contracts

Benefit Accrual. While working in an acting capacity, unit employees will continue to accrue and have recorded general, special, or normal salary step increases in the unit employee's permanent position. However, such salary increases will be paid only to maintain a minimum five (5) range points (e.g., ten [10] half-points) differential above the salary to which a unit employee is entitled in his/her permanent position.
