Bachelor of Manufacturing Management. Building on the dual-sector status of the University, the Industry Skills Centre at the University is developing a Degree in Manufacturing Management. This program is an applied degree that embeds the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Competitive Manufacturing as the first two years of the degree with a third, capstone year to the bachelor. The degree thus embeds VET qualifications into a HE award. It has been developed in close consultation with local manufacturing employers in the Western Victorian region who expressed the need for a degree aimed at existing technician level workers in the industry which will equip them to progress to production management positions in the industry. University Strategies 2014-16 The University is well-positioned to build on the strong industry linkages of its TAFE activities for the development of its HE programs. Since 2010 the University has re-structured to integrate its HE and VET activities into a single tertiary provision of qualifications across the entire AQF. In particular, there have been two key strategies for developing this tertiary and more industry engaged approach to education:

  • Manufacturing (a) The Supplier shall without limitation be responsible, at no additional cost to the Purchaser, for: sourcing and procuring all raw materials for the Products; obtaining all necessary approvals, permits and licenses for the manufacturing of the Products; providing sufficient qualified staff and workers to perform the obligations under this Purchase Agreement; implementing and maintaining effective inventory and production control procedures with respect to the Products; and handling other matters as reasonably requested by the Purchaser from time to time.

  • Quality Management System Supplier hereby undertakes, warrants and confirms, and will ensue same for its subcontractors, to remain certified in accordance with ISO 9001 standard or equivalent. At any time during the term of this Agreement, the Supplier shall, if so instructed by ISR, provide evidence of such certifications.   • Staff Development ‌ The County and the Association agree that the County retains full authority to determine training needs, resources that can be made available, and the method of payment for training authorized by the County. Nothing in this subsection shall preclude the right of an employee to request specific training.
