APPRENTICE WAGE RATE SCHEDULE. It is mutually understood by the parties hereto that the use of Apprentices shall be encouraged on all jobs and they may be employed on the following basis: Two Journeymen, one Apprentice; six Journeymen, two Apprentices; ten Journeymen, three Apprentices. At no time shall the Employer have on any one project trainees or Apprentices unless Journeymen are employed on the project. APPRENTICES AND APPRENTICE WAGE RATE SCALE First six (6) months. 50% of Journeyman rate Second six (6) months. 65% of Journeyman rate Third six (6) months 80% of Journeyman rate Fourth six (6) months. 85% of Journeyman rate Fifth six (6) months. 90% of Journeyman rate Sixth six (6) months. 95% of Journeyman rate There shall be no Contractor or Contractor's superintendent discrimination against any member of the organization for his Union activities on any previous job.

APPRENTICE WAGE RATE SCHEDULE. The Apprentice program consists of a 4,000 hour training cycle. The Apprentice wage rate for each period of the apprenticeship is expressed as a percentage of the skilled Construction Craft Laborer journeyworker rate specified in the collective bargaining agreement. The Employer may pay a higher rate at its option. However, the Apprentice must meet his or her commitments to the Joint Apprenticeship Committee regardless of the level being paid. The schedule that follows provides for four equal periods of approximately 1,000 hours of work and training each. First period at 60% of the lowest journeyworker rate; Second period at 70% of the lowest journeyworker rate; Third period at 80% of the lowest journeyworker rate; Fourth period at 90% of the lowest journey- worker rate.

The rate for each period of the apprenticeship is expressed as a percentage of the skilled Construction Craft Laborer journey worker rate specified in the collective bargaining agreement. The schedule that follows provide for four equal periods of approximately 1000 hours of work and training each: 1st period at 60% of the journey workers rate. 2nd period at 70% of the journey works rate. 3rd period at 80% of the journey workers rate. 4th period at 90% of the journey workers rate. The employer may pay a higher rate at is option. However the Apprentice must meet his or her commitment to the JATC regardless of the level being paid. An apprentice shall not be penalized for taking off from work to attend offsite training required by the JATC.

  • Minimum Wage Rates It shall include, in all contracts in excess of $2,000 for work on any projects funded under this grant agreement which involve labor, provisions establishing minimum rates of wages, to be predetermined by the Secretary of Labor, in accordance with the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act, as amended (40 U.S.C. 276a-276a-5), which contractors shall pay to skilled and unskilled labor, and such minimum rates shall be stated in the invitation for bids and shall be included in proposals or bids for the work.

  • Hourly Wage Rates The Employer shall pay wages to every employee covered by this Agreement at the rates set forth in Schedule "A" hereunto annexed in respect of the various classifications therein contained. Schedule "A" shall be deemed to be contained in, and form a part of this Agreement.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. Copies may be obtained at cost at the office of County's OC Public Works/OC Facilities & Asset Management/A&E Project Management or visit the website of the Department of Industrial Relations, Prevailing Wage Unit at xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/XXXX/XXX. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Sections 1774, 1775, 1776 and 1813 of the Labor Code.

  • Mileage Rates The mileage rate shall be the maximum allowed by the Internal Revenue Service. If the IRS rate should change during the term of the contract, the contract rate shall change also on the date specified by the IRS.

  • Rental Rates and Wage Rates for Change Orders As soon as is practical, but prior to the completion of the Construction Preparation Period and in any event prior to the commencement of any Work on the Site, the Contractor shall submit in accordance with the style and format of a specimen to be furnished by the Owner for consideration of the Owner the following: (1) a proposal for rental rates on heavy construction equipment that shall apply in the event Change Order Work is performed, and (2) a proposal for wage rates for the types of project labor that shall apply in the event of the execution of any Change Order Work. Under penalty of false swearing, a principal of the contracting firm shall certify that the proposal for rental rates and proposal for wage rates do not exceed current costs for like services. The Owner will in no event consider a rental rate in excess of eighty percent of the rate set forth in the latest edition of the "Compilation of Nationally Averaged Rental Rates for Construction Equipment" of the Associated Equipment Distributors unless the rates proposed in excess of eighty percent are supported by proof satisfactory to the Owner that the excess rates are reasonable. If the equipment is owned by the Contractor the costs shall be charged at a maximum of eighty percent of market monthly rental rates for the amount of time used. If applicable, transportation costs may be included. The decision of the Owner shall be final, binding and conclusive on all parties. Rental rates shall be payable only for the actual time the equipment is required on the Site.

  • Rate Schedule This Service Agreement in all respects shall be and remain subject to the applicable provisions of Rate Schedule CDS and of the General Terms and Conditions of Pipeline's FERC Gas Tariff on file with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, all of which are by this reference made a part hereof. Customer shall pay Pipeline, for all services rendered hereunder and for the availability of such service in the period stated, the applicable prices established under Pipeline's Rate Schedule CDS as filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and as same may hereafter be legally amended or superseded. Customer agrees that Pipeline shall have the unilateral right to file with the appropriate regulatory authority and make changes effective in (a) the rates and charges applicable to service pursuant to Pipeline's Rate Schedule CDS, (b) Pipeline's Rate Schedule CDS pursuant to which service hereunder is rendered or (c) any provision of the General Terms and Conditions applicable to Rate Schedule CDS. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Customer does not agree that Pipeline shall have the unilateral right without the consent of Customer subsequent to the execution of this Service Agreement and Pipeline shall not have the right during the effectiveness of this Service Agreement to make any filings pursuant to Section 4 of the Natural Gas Act to change the MDQ specified in Article I, to change the term of the agreement as specified in Article II, to change Point(s) of Receipt specified in Article IV, to change the Point(s) of Delivery specified in Article IV, or to change the firm character of the service hereunder. Pipeline agrees that Customer may protest or contest the aforementioned filings, and Customer does not waive any rights it may have with respect to such filings.
