Appointment of Ancillary Academic Staff Members. 12:19 Whenever an ancillary academic staff position in the bargaining unit is to be filled, the Xxxx (or in the case of the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the Vice-Xxxxxxx, Teaching and Learning) shall cause a search to be made and shall arrange for the interview of suitable candidates. A candidate shall possess the qualifications for the appointment as adopted and applied by the Appointments Committee. The appointment procedure to be followed will be the normal procedure for the appointment of faculty members. The search procedure which shall be in accordance with clauses 12:01 to 12:04 shall include internal advertisement of each such position and when approved by the Xxxxxxx external advertisement of such a position in appropriate Canadian publication(s). The Xxxx, after receipt of the written recommendations of the Appointments Committee, shall propose to the President or her/his delegate, the appointment of the candidate(s) from among those recommended by the Appointments Committee, or may cause the search to continue.

Appointment of Ancillary Academic Staff Members. 12:18 Whenever an ancillary academic position in the bargaining unit is to be filled, the MU Head shall cause a search to be made and shall arrange for the interview of suitable candidates. A candidate shall possess the qualifications for the appointment approved by the AAU ancillary academic staff Committee (hereafter “the AAS Committee”). Where teaching and research responsibilities normally performed by faculty members are to be assigned to the appointee, the appointment procedure to be followed will be the normal procedure for the appointment of faculty members. The search procedure which shall be in accordance with Articles 12:01 - 12:04 shall include internal advertisement of each such position and when approved by the Vice- President, Academic external advertisement of such a position in appropriate Canadian publication(s). The AAU Head after receipt of the written recommendations of the AAS Committee, shall propose to the President or his/her delegate, the appointment of the candidate(s) from among those recommended by the AAS Committee, or may cause the search to continue.

Neither the Partnership nor any Partners shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement in any business ventures of any Limited Partner or Assignee. Subject to such agreements, none of the Limited Partners nor any other Person shall have any rights by virtue of this Agreement or the partnership relationship established hereby in any business ventures of any other Person, other than the Limited Partners benefiting from the business conducted by the General Partner, and such Person shall have no obligation pursuant to this Agreement to offer any interest in any such business ventures to the Partnership, any Limited Partner or any such other Person, even if such opportunity is of a character which, if presented to the Partnership, any Limited Partner or such other Person, could be taken by such Person.
