Annual Leave Administration. Annual leave hours may be used to provide paid time off for any approved absence, including but not limited to vacation and illness. When annual leave is used for sick leave purposes, the City may require the employee to submit substantiating evidence of illness if there is a demonstrable pattern of abuse.
