Wages and Salaries The wages and salaries for Unit employees have been negotiated in good faith between the Union and the District and shall be as set forth in Appendix A of this Agreement. The wages and salaries set forth in Appendix A are intended to, and do, meet any prevailing wage obligations which are or may be imposed upon the District.
Transmission Wages and Salaries Allocation Factor shall equal the ratio of Connecting Transmission Owner Transmission-related direct electric wages and salaries including any direct wages or salaries charged to Connecting Transmission Owner by a Connecting Transmission Owner Affiliate to Connecting Transmission Owner’s total electric direct wages and salaries including any wages charged to Connecting Transmission Owner by a Connecting Transmission Owner Affiliate excluding any electric administrative and general wages and salaries. SALARIES AND WAGES Contractor and any subcontractors must pay all salaries and wages due all employees performing Services under this Contract unconditionally and at least once a month without deduction or rebate on any account, except only for those payroll deductions that are mandatory by law or are permitted under applicable law and regulations. If in the performance of this Contract Contractor underpays any such salaries or wages, the Comptroller for the City may withhold, out of payments due to Contractor, an amount sufficient to pay to employees underpaid the difference between the salaries or wages required to be paid under this Agreement and the salaries or wages actually paid these employees for the total number of hours worked. The amounts withheld may be disbursed by the Comptroller for and on account of Contractor to the respective employees to whom they are due. The parties acknowledge that this paragraph is solely for the benefit of the City and that it does not grant any third party beneficiary rights.
WAGES AND COMPENSATION Section 1:
WAGES AND FRINGE BENEFITS The minimum hourly rate of Wages and Benefits shall be as per Attachment “A”. Wages at the established rates specified herein shall be paid weekly in the shop or on the job at or before quitting time on any day, Monday through Friday, of each week, and no more than five (5) calendar days pay will be withheld. Alternative payroll procedures, i.e., electronic and/or automatic deposit may be utilized by the Employer. Employees laid off through no fault of their own shall be paid in full ½ hour prior to quitting time or if the employee is signed up for electronic transfer, the money shall be transferred to his or her account within 24 hours. Employees who were discharged or voluntarily quit shall be paid their wages per the Site Local Union’s Agreement. Assessments or Penalties for late pay or non-payment of wages shall be as per the Site Local Inside Collective Bargaining Agreement. Holidays and vacations shall comply with the terms of the Site Local Inside Collective Bargaining Agreement.
PAYMENT OF WAGES AND ALLOWANCES 25.01 The Employer shall pay salaries and wages bi-weekly in accordance with Schedule “A” attached hereto and forming part of this Agreement. On each pay day, each Employee shall be provided with an itemized statement of his/her wages and deductions. Deficiencies in an Employee’s pay in excess of $50.00 shall be paid by way of an advance within three (3) days of advising the Employer.
Salary and Wages Except in the case of a Permitted Termination or Furlough, the Recipient shall not, between the date of this Agreement and March 31, 2021, reduce, without the Employee’s consent, (A) the pay rate of any Employee earning a Salary, or (B) the pay rate of any Employee earning Wages.
Minimum Salaries 12.1 The minimum base salary for all Bargaining Unit members shall be as follows: Rank Effective 9/1/2016 Professor $77,510 Assoc. Professor $62,520 Asst. Librarian $43,835 Faculty Members earning a base salary below the effective minima shall move to the new minima and receive any across-the-board and compression increase under Article 10 on his or her minima. Faculty Members who will receive regional campus increases under Article 10 of this Agreement shall receive those increases before any adjustment to meet the minimum salary required by this Article.
Basic Salaries The basic salaries of employees covered by this Agreement are set forth in Appendix A which is attached to, and incorporated in this Agreement. These salaries shall remain in effect from July 1 through June 30.
SALARIES wages and other similar remuneration, other than a pension, paid by a Contracting State or a political subdivision or a local authority thereof to an individual in respect of services rendered to that State or subdivision or authority shall be taxable only in that State.
