ADDITIONAL DUTIES DUE TO LEAVES OF ABSENCE. When an administrator or professional staff member is on leave for more than twenty (20) work days, and another administrator or professional staff member is required to assume additional job responsibilities because of the absence, the Superintendent and President of EAPSC will evaluate the appropriateness of a compensatory supplement.

  • EXTENDED LEAVES OF ABSENCE 1. Military leave without pay shall be granted to any employee who is inducted in any branch of the armed forces of the United States for the period of said service.

  • Medical Leave of Absence Where you have a medical leave of absence due to any medically determinable physical or mental impairment that can be expected to result in death or can be expected to last for a continuous period of not less than six months, and you have not returned to employment with the Company or an Affiliate, a Separation from Service has occurred on the earlier of: (A) the first day on which you would not be considered “disabled” under any disability policy of the Company or Affiliate under which you are then receiving a benefit; or (B) the first day on which your medical leave of absence period exceeds 29 months.
