Welfare Benefit Continuation Period definition

Welfare Benefit Continuation Period means the two year period which starts on the date Executive’s employment terminates under this Employment Agreement or the period which starts on the date Executive’s employment terminates under this Employment Agreement and ends on the last day of the Term, whichever period is shorter, and
Welfare Benefit Continuation Period means a period of time commencing as of the Distribution Date and ending on December 31, 2014.
Welfare Benefit Continuation Period means the period that (1) commences on the first day of the month that immediately follows the month in which the Eligible Employee’s Severance Date occurs and (2) ends on the last day of the month in which the second anniversary of such Severance Date occurs.

Examples of Welfare Benefit Continuation Period in a sentence

  • The coverage period for purposes of the group health continuation requirements of Section 4980B of the Code shall commence at the expiration of the Welfare Benefit Continuation Period.

  • The Executive shall receive such continued coverage under the same terms and conditions (e.g., any requirement that employees pay all or any portion of the cost of such coverage) that would apply if Executive had continued to be an employee of the Company during the Welfare Benefit Continuation Period.

  • To the extent that such employee’s participation in Company benefit plans is not practicable, the Company shall arrange to provide, at the Company’s sole expense, such employee and anyone entitled to claim under or through such employee with equivalent health and dental benefits under an alternative arrangement during the Welfare Benefit Continuation Period.

  • The coverage period for purposes of the group health continuation requirements of Section 4980B of the Code shall commence at the Severance Date, and shall run concurrently with the Welfare Benefit Continuation Period.

  • The Company shall pay to the Executive a monthly cash payment during the Welfare Benefit Continuation Period equal to the monthly premium amount (as determined herein) applicable for the Executive to continue to receive the same basic level of life insurance coverage in effect for Executive under the Company’s group life insurance plans at the time of Executive’s employment termination.

More Definitions of Welfare Benefit Continuation Period

Welfare Benefit Continuation Period means the eighteen (18) month period following a Severance that occurs during the Change in Control Protection Period.

  • Benefit Continuation Period means the period beginning on the Date of Termination and ending on the last day of the month in which occurs the earlier of (i) the 24-month anniversary of the Date of Termination and (ii) the date on which you elect coverage for you and your covered dependents under substantially comparable benefit plans of a subsequent employer.

  • Welfare Benefits means the types of benefits described in Section 3(1) of ERISA (whether or not covered by ERISA).

Medical benefit plan does not include benefits provided to individuals retired from a public employer or a public employer's contributions to a fund used for the sole purpose of funding health care benefits that are available to a public employee or an elected public official only upon retirement or separation from service.

  • Severance Period means the period of time commencing on the date of the first occurrence of a Change in Control and continuing until the earlier of (i) the second anniversary of the occurrence of the Change in Control and (ii) the Executive’s death.

  • Health benefit plan means a policy, contract, certificate or agreement offered or issued by a health carrier to provide, deliver, arrange for, pay for or reimburse any of the costs of health care services.

  • Non-U.S. Benefit Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.20(a).

  • Continuing Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.7(a).

  • Welfare means that language referring to effects on welfare includes, but is not limited to, effects on soils, water, crops, vegetation, man-made materials, animals, wildlife, weather, visibility and climate, damage to and deterioration of property, and hazards to transportation, as well as effects on economic values and on personal comfort and well-being.

  • Continuation Coverage means coverage under a COBRA continuation provision or a similar state program.
