Walk-In Users definition

Walk-In Users means individuals, who are not otherwise Authorised Users, who are allowed by the Institution to access its information services from computer terminals or by other means (including wirelessly), from within the physical premises of the Institution.
Walk-In Users means a category of Authorised User as set out in point (v) of the definition of Authorised Users.
Walk-In Users means persons who are not an Authorised User, but who are permitted to access the Purchasing Authority’s information services from computer terminals within the physical premises of the Purchasing Authority and are also deemed to be Authorised Users, only for the time they are within the physical premises of the Purchasing Authority.   • Walk-In Users are entitled to access, browse, make copies in print and digital form, collate, display, view, search, retrieve, print, download, store on any hard drive or removable media drive such as USB stick and use the Licensed Materials for their scholarly, research and personal use.

  • Licensee and Participating Institutions are not entitled to grant any form of remote access to the Licensed Materials to Walk-In Users.

Walk-In Users means persons who are not officially affiliated with Subscriber, but who are occasional users of Subscriber’s library or information service and Secure Network, and who are permitted to access said Secure Network from computer terminals within Subscriber’s location only. Any payment of a fee to Subscriber by a person in order to be a Walk-in User is deemed not to constitute Commercial Use unless otherwise required by local law or regulation.
Walk-In Users means Patrons, not affiliated with Licensee, who are physically present at Licensee’s site(s).

  • Users means your employees, representatives, consultants, contractors or agents who are authorized to use the Subscription Service for your benefit and have unique user identifications and passwords for the Subscription Service.

  • End Users means a Third Party residence or business that subscribes to Telecommunications Services provided by any of the Parties at retail. As used herein, the term “End User(s)” does not include any of the Parties to this Agreement with respect to any item or service obtained under this Agreement.

Examples of this type of respirator are a disposable half-mask respirator or a disposable escape-only self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

  • Filtering facepiece (dust mask) means a negative pressure particulate respirator with a filter as an integral part of the facepiece or with the entire facepiece composed of the filtering medium, not equipped with elastomeric sealing surfaces and adjustable straps.

  • Visitors means guests, applicants, contractors, vendors, advisory board members, foundation board members, and members of the public on college premises.

  • Customer User means an employee of Customer, a Customer Affiliate or Business Partner.

  • Explosives or munitions emergency response specialist means an individual trained in chemical or conventional munitions or explosives handling, transportation, render-safe procedures, or destruction techniques. Explosives or munitions emergency response specialists include Department of Defense (DOD) emergency explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), technical escort unit (TEU), and DOD-certified civilian or contractor personnel; and other Federal, State, or local government, or civilian personnel similarly trained in explosives or munitions emergency responses.

  • Permitted Users has the meaning given in Section 16.02;

  • Transit Traffic means traffic originating on CLEC’s network that is switched and transported by AT&T-TSP and delivered to a Third Party Terminating Carrier’s network or traffic from a Third Party Originating Carrier’s network. A call that is originated or terminated by a CLEC purchasing local switching pursuant to a commercial agreement with AT&T-TSP is not considered Transit Traffic for the purposes of this Attachment. Additionally Transit Traffic does not include traffic to/from IXCs.

  • Water user means a person, corporation, or other entity having a right to divert water from the Bear River for beneficial use;

  • Channel migration zone (CMZ) means the area where the active channel of a stream is prone to move and this results in a potential near-term loss of riparian function and associated habitat adjacent to the stream, except as modified by a permanent levee or dike. For this purpose, near-term means the time scale required to grow a mature forest. (See board manual section 2 for descriptions and illustrations of CMZs and delineation guidelines.)

  • Snowmobile means a self-propelled vehicle designed to travel on snow or ice, steered by skis or

  • Active User means PSC employees, and any users actively participating on the system in any given month of operation, who shall be bound to the terms and conditions of this Agreement. Licensor does not impose a limit on the number of Active Users accessing or registering to use the system.

  • Beam scattering foil means a thin piece of material (usually metallic) placed in the beam to scatter a beam of electrons in order to provide a more uniform electron distribution in the useful beam.

  • Pavement means any type of improved surface that is within the public right-of-way and that is paved or otherwise constructed with bituminous, concrete, aggregate, or gravel.

  • Intermittent stream means all watercourses identified as intermittent streams on United States Geological Survey quadrangle maps.

  • Occupants means employees, visitors or invitees at NYC owned or managed buildings.

  • Healing arts screening means the testing of human beings using x-ray machines for the detection or evaluation of health indications when such tests are not specifically and individually ordered by a licensed practitioner of the healing arts legally authorized to prescribe such x-ray tests for the purpose of diagnosis or treatment.

  • Explosives or munitions emergency response means all immediate response activities by an explosives and munitions emergency response specialist to control, mitigate, or eliminate the actual or potential threat encountered during an explosives or munitions emergency. An explosives or munitions emergency response may include in-place render-safe procedures, treatment or destruction of the explosives or munitions and/or transporting those items to another location to be rendered safe, treated, or destroyed. Any reasonable delay in the completion of an explosives or munitions emergency response caused by a necessary, unforeseen, or uncontrollable circumstance will not terminate the explosives or munitions emergency. Explosives and munitions emergency responses can occur on either public or private lands and are not limited to responses at RCRA facilities.

  • Routine use means the disclosure of a record without the consent of the subject or subjects, for a purpose which is compatible with the purpose for which the record was collected. It includes disclosures required to be made by statute other than the public records law, Iowa Code chapter 22.
