Vice Chair for Trials definition

Vice Chair for Trials means the officer whose primary responsibility includes oversight of Honor trials and appeals, as more particularly described in Section II.B.2 of these by-laws.

  • Before April 1 of each year, but no sooner than three (3) weeks following the date of the most recent election, all of the newly-elected UJC Representatives who have successfully completed their training, as determined by the outgoing Chair, shall convene to elect the new Voting Members of the Executive Committee, by majority vote by instant run off, in the following order: Chair, Vice Chair for Trials, Vice Chair for Sanctions, Vice Chair for First Years, Vice Chair for Graduate Students.

  • The Vice Chair for Trials shall be responsible for the administrative operations of the UJC, including the scheduling of Trials and the assignment of Judges, and shall be the head of the Representative pool.

  • The Vice Chair for Trials shall preside over the UJC in the absence of the Chair.

  • The primary responsibility of UJC Representatives is to serve as Judges in UJC Trials; other responsibilities include fulfilling all duties reasonably imposed by the Chair and Vice Chair for Trials, with the advice and consent of the UJC.

  • During the month of March following each election of Representatives to the UJC, the outgoing Chair and Vice Chair for Trials shall be responsible for Training of the newly-elected Representatives, and shall provide reasonable advance written notice to such Representatives of the date, time, and place of all training sessions.

  • In the event of a vacancy in the position of the Chair, the Vice Chair for Trials shall preside until a new Chair is elected.

  • The “Minimum Trial Number” shall be determined by the Vice Chair for Trials in consultation with the UJC Representatives at the beginning of each term.

  • The five officers of the Executive Committee shall be the Chair, the Vice Chair for Investigations, the Vice Chair for Trials, the Vice Chair for Education, and the Vice Chair for Community Relations.

  • This admission will be deemed to have been made upon delivery of the request form to the Vice Chair for Trials, whether or not a Hearing on CMD is approved by the Dean of Students (as described in the Psychological Procedures) and actually held, and regardless of the outcome of any Hearing on CMD if one is held.

  • The Vice Chair for Trials shall oversee all cases of accused and dismissed students and shall be responsible for the administration of all Honor trials and appeals.

  • Vice-Chairperson means the Vice-Chairperson of the Board.

  • Lead Compound means any compound of lead other than galena which, when treated in the manner described below, yields to an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid a quantity soluble lead compound exceeding, when calculated as lead monoxide, five percent of the dry weight of the portion taken analysis.

  • Executive Committee means a group of directors elected or appointed to act on behalf of, and within the powers granted to them by, the Commission.

  • JCC has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Joint Commercialization Committee or “JCC” has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1(a).

  • Research Committee has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2(a).

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Clinical means having a significant relationship, whether real or potential, direct or indirect, to the actual rendering or outcome of dental care, the practice of dentistry, or the quality of dental care being rendered to a patient;

  • JDC has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

  • JSC has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.

  • JRC has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.1.

  • Joint Development Committee or “JDC” has the meaning set forth in Section 3.10.

  • Clinical Director means an individual who meets the minimum requirements set forth in Title 9, CCR, and has at least two (2) years of full-time professional experience working in a mental health setting.

  • Deputy Chairperson means the deputy chairperson from time to time of the Trust if one is appointed in accordance of rule 4 of the Third Schedule;

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Chair means the chair of the Board;

  • Commercialization Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2.

  • Diagnostic clinical procedures manual means a collection of written procedures that describes each method (and other instructions and precautions) by which the licensee performs diagnostic clinical procedures; where each diagnostic clinical procedure has been approved by the authorized user and includes the radiopharmaceutical, dosage, and route of administration.

  • Development Candidate means a Compound that meets the Development Candidate Criteria for the initiation of a Development Program for the treatment of CF, and which is the subject of a notice from Vertex to CFFT that Vertex intends to commence formal pre-clinical development of the Compound in the Field pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.1 hereof.

  • Independent candidate means any candidate who claims not to be affiliated with a political party, and whose name has been certified on the office-type ballot at a general or special election through the filing of a statement of candidacy and nominating petition, as prescribed in section 3513.257 of the Revised Code.

  • Clinical review criteria means the written screening procedures, decision abstracts, clinical protocols, and practice guidelines used by a health carrier to determine the necessity and appropriateness of health care services.

  • Steering Committee has the meaning set forth in Section 2.

  • JMC has the meaning set forth in Section 3.01.

  • Nomination Criteria means the criteria made up of the Over-Riding Nomination Criteria andthe Specific Nomination Factors, and is also referred to as “this Criteria”.
