TUITION WAIVERS. Because this program is administered by the School of Extended Learning, I understand that Tuition and Fee Waivers and scholarships cannot be used because this program is sponsored by agencies that are not under obligation to fulfill financial renunciations issued by Eastern Illinois University or its affiliates. Military must notify the School of Extended Learning to use Military waivers or benefits. PAYMENT: I understand that payment will be made through the EIU student account system and that I may receive notification of bills through my EIU email account, not my personal email account. I understand that I need to check my EIU email account for tuition/fee payment information. I understand that any financial aid received will be reflected on my student account. If financial aid is not reflected, I will contact the financial aid office at 000-000-0000. ENROLLMENT/DROPPING A CLASS: I understand that once accepted into the program, I will be automatically enrolled directly into the recommended class(es) each semester. I understand that I must communicate with the Department of Music prior to the drop deadline for the semester if I DO NOT wish to participate in classes in a given semester. I understand that if classes are not dropped by the drop deadline date, I will be financially responsible for payment of the course. COURSE PARTICIPATION: I understand that course participation throughout a term/semester is mandatory for all courses in which I am registered. Any exceptions must be approved by the instructor in advance unless it is an emergency that meets the guidelines of Eastern Illinois University. Documentation may be required. I understand that online classes may have synchronous requirement that will be made clear at the beginning of the semester and that I am expected to participate in synchronous components. SUMMER RESIDENCY: I understand that attendance at one summer residency on campus for one week is a requirement for successful completion of the program. I understand that the next summer residency will take place Friday, July 12, 2024 – Thursday, July 18, 2024 on the campus of EIU. I am financially responsible for transportation to/from EIU, housing during the residency, and some meals.

  • Tuition Fees means a sum specified in the Offer Letter, payable by the Student to cover tuition, access to College facilities, enrolment procedures and orientation meetings, use of Information Technology facilities, exam sitting and a Kaplan award on successful completion of the Programme; and

  • Tuition pupil means a pupil of school age attending school in a district other than the pupil's district of residence for whom tuition may be charged to the district of residence. Tuition pupil does not include a pupil who is a special education pupil, a pupil described in subsection (6)(c) to (o), or a pupil whose parent or guardian voluntarily enrolls the pupil in a district that is not the pupil's district of residence. A pupil's district of residence shall not require a high school tuition pupil, as provided under section 111, to attend another school district after the pupil has been assigned to a school district.

  • Tuition and fees means undergraduate tuition and services

  • Tuition Fee means the basic tuition fee applicable to specific programmes and shall include auxiliary fees which are for required instruction but shall exclude any other fees such as international student differential fees, co-op fees, and student union fees.

  • Tuition means the total amount of money charged for the cost of a qualifying student to attend an independent school including, but not limited to, fees for attending the school and school-related transportation.

  • Expense Reimbursement has the meaning set forth in Section 8.2(c).

  • Further Competition Procedure means the further competition procedure described in paragraph 3 of Framework Schedule 5 (Call Off Procedure);

  • Landlord Waiver means a letter in form and substance reasonably acceptable to the Administrative Agent and executed by a landlord in respect of Inventory of a Loan Party located at any leased premises of a Loan Party pursuant to which such landlord, among other things, waives or subordinates on terms and conditions reasonably acceptable to the Administrative Agent any Lien such landlord may have in respect of such Inventory.

  • Lien Waiver Agreement means an agreement which is executed in favor of Agent by a Person who owns or occupies premises at which any Collateral may be located from time to time and by which such Person shall waive any Lien that such Person may ever have with respect to any of the Collateral and shall authorize Agent from time to time to enter upon the premises to inspect or remove the Collateral from such premises or to use such premises to store or dispose of such Inventory.

  • General Affirmations means the statements in Attachment B, attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes, which Provider affirms by executing this Contract.

  • Assignment of Agreements means that certain Assignment of Agreements, Licenses, Permits and Contracts, dated as of the date hereof, from Borrower, as assignor, to Lender, as assignee.

  • Legal Costs of a person means legal costs incurred by that person in defending an action for a Liability of that person.

  • Special Allowance Payments means payments, designated as such, consisting of effective interest subsidies by the Department in respect of the Trust Student Loans to the Eligible Lender Trustee on behalf of the Trust in accordance with the Higher Education Act.

  • Indemnity Agreement means that certain Indemnity Agreement dated as of the Closing Date by Borrower and Indemnitor in favor of Lender.

  • Licensure by endorsement means the issuance of an Iowa license to practice as a barber to an applicant who is or has been licensed in another state.

  • Indemnification Agreements has the meaning set forth in Section 2.5.

  • Assignment of Insurances shall have the meaning provided in the definition of “Collateral and Guaranty Requirements”.

  • Tax Indemnity Agreement means the Tax Indemnity Agreement, dated as of even date with the Participation Agreement, between Lessee and Owner Participant.

  • Tax Protection Agreement means that certain Tax Protection Agreement dated as of the date hereof, by and among the REIT, the OP and the parties identified as a signatory on Schedule A thereto.

  • Cost Reimbursement means a contract which provides for a fee other than a fee based on a percentage of cost and under which a contractor is reimbursed for costs which are allowable and allocable in accordance with the contract terms.

  • Coordination of Benefits or “COB” means a provision establishing an order in which plans pay their claims, and permitting secondary plans to reduce their benefits so that the combined benefits of all plans do not exceed total allowable expenses.

  • Assignment of Benefits means an arrangement whereby the Plan Participant assigns their right to seek and receive payment of eligible Plan benefits, in strict accordance with the terms of this Plan Document, to a Provider. If a provider accepts said arrangement, Providers’ rights to receive Plan benefits are equal to those of a Plan Participant, and are limited by the terms of this Plan Document. A Provider that accepts this arrangement indicates acceptance of an “Assignment of Benefits” as consideration in full for services, supplies, and/or treatment rendered.

  • Costs and fees means all reasonable pre-award expenses of the arbitration, including the arbitrators' fees, administrative fees, travel expenses, out-of-pocket expenses such as copying and telephone, court costs, witness fees and attorney's fees. Upon the request of a party, the arbitrators' award shall include findings of fact and conclusion of law. The arbitrators shall provide copies of such award to the parties. Any award may be entered by the prevailing party in any court of competent jurisdiction.

  • Indemnities shall have the meaning specified in Section 11.

  • Customary Post-Closing Consents means the consents and approvals from Governmental Authorities for the assignment of the Assets to Buyer that are customarily obtained after the assignment of properties similar to the Assets.
