Temporary Replacement Employees means employees hired to replace a regular employee for a period of up to three (3) months in duration and are not covered by this Collective Agreement;

Examples of Temporary Replacement Employees in a sentence

  • The parties to this Agreement recognize that if the College has been unsuccessful in obtaining Temporary Replacement Employees, College operations may require the assignment of work that necessitates Regular Part-Time Employees to perform work at another campus, which is not the employee's regularly assigned workplace due to emergency circumstances beyond the College's reasonable control.

  • After seventeen (17) weeks of continuous service, Temporary Replacement Employees shall receive a safety boot allowance to a maximum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200) per year, which shall be paid to the Temporary Replacement Employee upon provision of proof of purchase and the appropriate expense sheet.

  • The committee will also discuss and determine uniform entitlements for Temporary Replacement Employees.

  • Temporary Replacement Employees shall be entitled to one (1) paid personal day for every seventeen (17) continuous weeks of service up to a maximum of three (3) personal days per calendar year.

  • Temporary Replacement Employees shall only be covered by the following provisions of this Collective Agreement: 3, 4, 5.06, 11, 15.06, 17.01, 21.07, 21.08 and Appendix A, and shall have the right to grieve the violation of these articles.

Related to Temporary Replacement Employees

  • Temporary Employees means those employees hired to replace regular employees absent due to illness, accident, vacation, leave of absence, etc., or hired to perform work on projects or assignments of limited duration. The employment of temporary employees hired to perform work on projects or assignments of limited duration shall be limited to a period of ninety (90) days of work in any twelve (12) month period, commencing from the date of hire or commencement of employment in such period. The period of employment for temporary employees hired for all other purposes shall be limited to twelve (12) months. A project or assignment of limited duration shall not exceed eighteen (18) weeks’ duration in any twelve (12) month period. Any projects or assignments of limited duration in excess of that provided for herein will be posted.

  • Temporary Employee is one who is hired on a temporary basis for a full- time or part-time position:

  • Replacement employee is an employee specifically engaged to replace an employee proceeding on parental leave.

  • Permanent Employees means all employees who are not casual employees, or employees working in a long-term supply assignment, as defined below.

  • Excluded Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.1.2.

  • Temporary employment Any employment which will require the services of an incumbent for a limited period of time, paid on an hourly basis, not in an allocated position or in permanent status.   • Temporary food service establishment means a food service establishment that operates at a fixed location for a period of time of not more than 14 consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration.

  • Temporary job site means any location where industrial radiography, wireline service, well-logging, portable gauge or x-ray fluorescence use is performed and where licensed material may be stored other than those locations of use authorized on the license.

  • Temporary Teacher means a person employed to teach under the authority of a letter of permission.

  • Designated Employees means a person occupying any of the following position in the Company:

  • Auxiliary Employee meaning an employee who is employed for work which is not of a continuous nature such as:

  • Replacement Sub-Contractor means a sub-contractor of the Replacement Supplier to whom Transferring Supplier Employees will transfer on a Service Transfer Date (or any sub-contractor of any such sub-contractor);

  • Temporary food establishment means a food establishment that operates for a period of no more than fourteen consecutive days in conjunction with a single event or celebration.

  • Permanent Employee means an employee in the classified service who has successfully completed a probationary period.

  • Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.

  • Temporary Work means all temporary works of every kind required in or about the execution, completion and maintenance of the works.

  • Temporary housing means any tent, trailer, motor home, or other structure used for human shelter which is designed to be transportable and which is not attached to the ground, to another structure, or to any utilities system on the same premises for more than thirty (30) days.

  • Contract employee means a probationary faculty employee or a grant- funded employee hired on a year-to-year basis in accordance with Education Code 87470.

  • Excluded Employee means an employee as defined in section 3527, subd. (b) of the Government Code (Ralph C. Dills Act) except those excluded employees who are designated managerial pursuant to section 18801.1 of the Government Code.

  • temporary resident means a person who, in accordance with standards prescribed in rules adopted by the registrar, resides in this state on a temporary basis.

  • Temporary Works means all temporary works of every kind required in or about the execution, completion or maintenance of works.

  • Retained Employee does not include any individual who has a direct or an indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) in the profits, equity, capital, or value of the Taxpayer, or a child, grandchild, parent, or spouse, other than a spouse who is legally separated from the individual, of any individual who has direct or indirect ownership interest of at least five percent (5%) of the profits, equity, capital or value of the Company.
