State of Local Emergency definition

State of Local Emergency means a state of local emergency declared by the Municipality pursuant to the Act or renewed by the Municipality pursuant to the Act and regulations made pursuant thereto and this By-law;
State of Local Emergency means a state of local emergency declared by the Council of a participating municipality pursuant to the Act by a Mayor or Warden in the event Council cannot be assembled in a timely manner or renewed pursuant to the Act and Regulations made pursuant thereto and this By-Law.
State of Local Emergency means a state of local emergency declared in accordance with the provisions of the Act and this bylaw.

State of Local Emergency means an Emergency or Disaster situation where the need for response exceeds the capabilities of the local government and a Declaration of a State of Local Emergency is necessary to access specified extraordinary powers considered necessary to prevent, respond to or alleviate the effects of the Emergency or Disaster.
