SPP definition

SPP. Has the meaning stated in the preamble of this Agreement.
SPP means the Southwest Power Pool, one of the regional reliability councils of NERC formed to promote reliability and adequacy of bulk power supply of the electric utility systems in North America, or any successor to the functions thereof.
SPP means Southwest Power Pool, Inc., a FERC-approved RTO, which includes an energy market and which administers the provision of open access transmission service on a regional basis across the transmission facilities that SPP member Transmission Owners, as defined by the SPP Membership Agreement, have placed under the SPP Open Access Transmission Tariff (“OATT”). The Parties agree that reference to SPP within this Agreement shall apply to SPP or any successor organizations.

Examples of SPP in a sentence

  • A death benefit in the amount of $100,000 shall be paid to the surviving spouse, children or dependent parents (as defined in SPP § 10-404) of any State employee who is killed in the performance of job duties.

  • The Certificate required by this Section shall be signed by a health care provider in accordance with applicable law (SP&P § 9-504).
