Shop Local Program definition

Shop Local Program means any program whereby Taxpayer Consumers make purchases at Participating Merchants and earn property tax credits to satisfy a Taxpayer Consumer’s property tax obligations to the Township, or earn credits for check rebates for purchases made at Participating Merchants.

  • The Shop Local Program shall be administered and managed solely by the Applicant.

  • The form(s) to be used for the application shall be approved by the Township Council and may set forth additional requirements, terms and conditions, other than those enumerated in this Ordinance, which the Township Council deems necessary and proper to the efficient and effective administration of the Shop Local Program.

  • The contents of an Applicant’s license to operate a Shop Local Program shall contain the information required pursuant to Section 1.4 of this Chapter.

  • Applications for a license to operate a Shop Local Program shall be made to the Township Clerk on forms provided by the Township Clerk.

  • Upon licensing, it shall be the Licensee’s independent responsibility to oversee the Shop Local Program, register Taxpayer Consumers, and/or contract with interested Participating Merchants.

  • This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, tenants, renters, non-resident employees, visitors, or other such individuals authorized to participate and register in the Shop Local Program.

  • Applicant shall provide at least ninety (90) days’ written notice to Participating Merchants, Taxpayer Consumers and the Township in the event the Shop Local Program shall be terminated for any reason.

  • The Applicant also agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Township, its officers, agents and employees, from any and all claims, actions, liability or costs, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and other costs of defense, in connection with, arising out of, or in any way related to the negligence of the Applicant, or its agents or employees, in the administration of the Shop Local Program.

  • Applicant shall have the responsibility to ensure that the Shop Local Program is properly advertised to all Township residents.

  • The Applicant agrees to hold in trust and/or turn over all funds collected from the Shop Local Program on behalf of Taxpayer Consumers, via electronic transfer, to the Township’s dedicated bank account, on a weekly basis.

Related to Shop Local Program

  • Educational program means a program for educating and preparing physician assistants which is approved by the board.

  • Marketing program means a program established by order of the director pursuant to this act prescribing rules and regulations governing the marketing for processing, distributing, selling, or handling an agricultural commodity produced in this state or agricultural commodity input during a specified period and

  • AML Program has the meaning ascribed thereto in Schedule 2.1(F)(8) hereof.

  • Approved abuse education training program means a training program using a curriculum approved by the abuse education review panel of the department of public health or a training program offered by a hospital, a professional organization for physicians, or the department of human services, the department of education, an area education agency, a school district, the Iowa law enforcement academy, an Iowa college or university, or a similar state agency.

  • Training program means an NCA-approved Iowa college, the Iowa law enforcement academy or an Iowa hospital approved by the department to conduct emergency medical care training.

  • Procurement Plan means the Recipient’s procurement plan for the Project, dated April 2, 2010, and referred to in paragraph 1.16 of the Procurement Guidelines and paragraph 1.24 of the Consultant Guidelines, as the same shall be updated from time to time in accordance with the provisions of said paragraphs.

  • Transitional living program means a residential program that may be attached to an existing facility or operated solely for the purpose of assisting children to develop the skills and abilities necessary for successful adult living. The program may include, but shall not be limited to, reduced staff supervision, vocational training, educational services, employment and employment training, and other appropriate independent living skills training as a part of the transitional living program;

  • Education program means any program that is principally engaged in the provision of education, including, but not limited to, early childhood education, elementary and secondary education, postsecondary education, special education, job training, career and technical education and adult education, and any program that is administered by an educational agency or institution.

  • Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Management Program means a management program covering the duration of a state permit for a municipal separate storm sewer system that includes a comprehensive planning process that involves public participation and intergovernmental coordination, to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the maximum extent practicable, to protect water quality, and to satisfy the appropriate water quality requirements of the CWA and regulations, and this article and its attendant regulations, using management practices, control techniques, and system, design, and engineering methods, and such other provisions that are appropriate.

  • Medical provider means a medical service provider, a hospital, a medical clinic, or a vendor of medical services.

  • Local Plan means a local or regional public transportation plan(s), which may include adopted policy(ies) that is developed and approved by the Governing Body of a Qualified Entity, Public Transportation Service Provider, or Metropolitan Planning Organization and which includes, at a minimum:

  • Participating Hospice Care Program Provider means a Hospice Care Program Provider that either: (i) has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield to provide services to participants in this benefits program, or; (ii) a Hospice Care Program Provider which has been designated by a Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan as a Participating Provider Option program.

  • Pilot program means a program using a representative sample of residential and small commercial customers to assist in developing and offering customer choice of electricity supply for all residential and commercial customers.

  • Project Management Plan means the management plan that (i) sets out a high level workplan to describe the manner in which the Design-Builder will manage the Project, including to address related matters such as traffic management and communications, and (ii) is prepared by or for the Design-Builder and submitted to the Owner;

  • Number of Students Who Began Program means the number of students who began the program who are scheduled to complete the program within the reporting calendar year.

  • Nutrient management plan means a plan developed or approved by the Department of Conservation and Recreation that requires proper storage, treatment and management of poultry waste, including dry litter, and limits accumulation of excess nutrients in soils and leaching or discharge of nutrients into state waters.

  • Quality Assurance Program means the overall quality program and associated activities including the Department’s Quality Assurance, Design-Builder Quality Control, the Contract’s quality requirements for design and construction to assure compliance with Department Specifications and procedures.

  • the Programme means the Government programme for delivery of smart metering in Great Britain. The Programme is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of policy, including establishing the commercial and regulatory framework to facilitate the roll-out;

  • flight plan means specified information provided to air traffic services units, relative to an intended flight or portion of a flight of an aircraft;

  • Transition Plan means a transition plan, acceptable to the LHIN that indicates how the needs of the HSP’s clients will be met following the termination of this Agreement and how the transition of the clients to new service providers will be effected in a timely manner; and

  • Qualified medical provider means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.

  • Non-Administrator Coordinated Home Care Program means a Coordinated Home Care Program which does not have an agreement with the Claim Administrator or a Blue Cross Plan but has been certified as a home health agency in accordance with the guidelines established by Medicare.

  • Dependent care assistance program means a benefit plan

  • E-Verify Program above means the employment verification program administered by the United States Department of Homeland Security, the Social Security Administration, or any successor program.

  • Program services means services that include all of the following provided they are pursuant to a program agreement: program needs assessment and development, job task analysis, curriculum development and revision, instruction, instructional materials and supplies, computer software and upgrades, instructional support, administrative and student services, related school to career training programs, skill or career interest assessment services and testing and contracted services.

  • Participating manufacturer means that term as defined in the master settlement agreement.
