SERVING AS WITNESS. No deductions shall be made from the hourly rate of pay/salary of a regular employee for an absence from work when subpoenaed to appear in court as a witness, other than as a litigant. Mileage and other actual expense reimbursement received as a result of service as a witness may be retained by the employee.
