Service Clerks definition

Service Clerks. A service clerk's schedule shall not be changed without notice except in the event of absence of other staff due to sickness or accident, or emergencies such as fire, flood, breakdown of machinery, or other such instances of force majeure. In all other cases, a service clerk must be notified on the day before any change to his or her schedule or be given an additional two (2) hours' pay. It is understood that if a penalty is paid under this subsection 2, then no penalty shall be paid under Section 9.30.
