Water Service Connection definition

Water Service Connection. (lateral) shall mean the pipes and fixtures used for the purpose of supplying any premises in the Municipality with water from the Corporation’s water distribution system that is located between the Corporation’s water main in the street and the street property line abutting the premises so supplied.

Water Service Connection means the point of connection of the customer’s or consumer’s water line with the water service line of the District, which shall normally be the downstream end of the water meter setter tailpiece.

Water Service Connection means a 19mm (3/4") connection or larger, to a main supply line and extending to the property line of the property concerned for the purpose of conveying water and may or may not include a water meter but shall include a shut-off valve and shall be the property of the Regional District.

More Definitions of Water Service Connection

Water Service Connection means the water or recycled water pipe, valves and other facilities by means of which the utility conducts water or recycled water from its distribution mains to the meter and meter box located at a specified place of delivery of water to a parcel of land.

Water Service Connection means the terminal end of the service connection from the Water System at its point of delivery to the consumer’s water system. If a meter is installed at the end of the service connection, then the service connection shall mean the downstream end of the meter.
