SERP Member definition

SERP Member means an employee of a Participating Employer who has satisfied the eligibility requirements under the Retirement Plan, and who satisfies each of the following criteria: (a) is determined by the Company to be a member of a select group of management or highly compensated employees within the meaning of sections 201(2), 301(a)(3) and 401(a)(1) of ERISA; and (b) is designated by the Company as an employee who may participate in the Plan.
SERP Member means an individual described in Section III of the Supplemental Plan, who has satisfied the eligibility requirements under the Retirement Plan and has been designated by the Company as being eligible to receive benefits hereunder.

Examples of SERP Member in a sentence

  • For each calendar year after 2012, the Annual Contribution Credit for the year shall only be determined with respect to the period of that calendar year throughout which the DC SERP Member meets the eligibility requirements as defined in Section 2.15.

  • For a SERP Member who has a Separation from Service on or after January 1, 2005, during such time (from such Separation of Service) there remains an outstanding balance of the SERP Member’s benefit (or a SERP Beneficiary’s benefit, in the event the SERP Member’s Separation from Service is due to death) under the Plan, such balance shall earn the SERP Interest Rate.

  • Neither this Plan, the SERP Committee, the Participating Employers nor the Company shall be liable in any manner to any person, including the SERP Member, SERP Member’s spouse, or SERP Beneficiary, for complying with any such court order or judgment.

  • Date of the contract If three references can not be furnished from the above, list business references from other purchasers not otherwise listed and provide the types of information requested above on these sales.

  • The benefits payable under this Supplemental Plan to a SERP Member or his or her SERP Beneficiary shall be paid from the general assets of the Participating Employer that employed the SERP Member.

  • Covered service member means a member of the Armed Forces, including a member of the National Guard or Reserves, who is undergoing medical treatment, recuperation, or therapy, is otherwise in outpatient status, or is otherwise on the temporary disability retired list, for a serious injury or illness.

  • Contributing Employer means any employer other than a reimbursing employer or rated governmental employer.

  • Former Member means a member that has withdrawn from a qualified authority under this section or a prior member of a qualified authority that has been dissolved under this section.

  • Teaching staff member means an employee who holds a position for which a certificate issued by the New Jersey State Board of Examiners is required.

  • Contributing Partner means each Partner contributing (or deemed to have contributed on termination and reconstitution of the Partnership pursuant to Section 708 of the Code or otherwise) a Contributed Property.

  • Individual Member means a registered, financial Member of the Club who is at least 18 years of age.

  • Corporate Partner means a Partner that is subject to tax under [reference to State law].

  • Retired member means any former member receiving a retirement allowance or any former member who has filed the necessary documents for retirement benefits and is no longer contributing to the retirement system;

  • Council Member means a member of the Council;

  • Founder Member means a subscriber to these rules for the purposes of registration;

  • Named Executive means any individual who, on the last day of the Company’s fiscal year, is the chief executive officer of the Company (or is acting in such capacity) or among the four most highly compensated officers of the Company (other than the chief executive officer). Such officer status shall be determined pursuant to the executive compensation disclosure rules under the Exchange Act.

  • Bargaining Unit Member or “employee” means a University employee who is included in the bargaining unit as defined in Article 2: “Recognition and Scope”.
