Self-directed care definition
Self-directed care means the ability of the client to be responsible for the self- direction, coordination and arrangement of his or her plan of care under the fee-for-service delivery option of the program;

Self-directed care means the process in which an adult person, who is prevented by a functional disability from performing a manual function related to health care that an individual would otherwise perform for himself or herself, chooses to direct and supervise a paid personal aide to perform those tasks.

Self-directed care means an approach to providing services, including programs, benefits, supports, and technology under the OAA intended to assist a person with activities of daily living, in which:
