Saturation Index means a mathematical representation or scale representing the ability of water to deposit calcium carbonate, or dissolve metal, concrete or grout.

Saturation Index means a mathematical calculation, based on the interrelation of temperature, calcium hardness, total alkalinity and pH, that predicts if pool water is corrosive, scale-forming, or neutral.
