Same Confinement definition

Same Confinement means that if two or more Confinements are due to the same or related injury or illness, or to any complications arising there from, such Confinements shall be regarded as one Confinement if each of them is not separated by more than 90 days from the paid or payable Confinement which immediately precedes it. This rule shall be observed in determining the limit of the benefits.
Same Confinement means that if two (2) or more Confinements are due to the same or related Injury or Sickness, or to any complications arising therefrom, such confinements shall be regarded as one (1) confinement if each of them is not separated by more than ninety (90) days and occurred during the currency of the Policy. This rule shall be observed in determining the limit of the benefits. “Schedule of Benefits” means the attachment to this Policy entitled “Schedule of Benefits” as may be amended by Us from time to time.

Examples of Same Confinement in a sentence

  • An additional benefit equal to one (1) times the Daily Hospital Income Benefit shall be paid for each day during which You are confined in an Intensive Care Unit up to a maximum of thirty (30) days for the Same Confinement.

  • When You shall be confined for more than thirty (30) consecutive days for the Same Confinement, an additional benefit equal to one (1) times the Daily Hospital Income Benefit shall be paid commencing from the thirty-first (31st) day of Confinement up to a maximum of thirty (30) days for the Same Confinement.

  • If You sustain Injury or Sickness during the period of insurance that necessarily confined You in a Hospital, We will pay the Sum Insured of Daily Hospital Income Benefit stated in the Schedule of Benefits for each day of Confinement up to a maximum of three hundred and sixty-five (365) days for the Same Confinement.

  • If the confinement occurs outside the covered areas, the daily hospital income benefit and long term hospitalization benefit will be limited to a maximum of 90 days for the Same Confinement.

  • While this Policy is in force and during the lifetime of the Insured, if the Insured is Confined in a Hospital for Medically Necessary treatment of a Covered Injury or Covered Illness, we will pay the Daily Hospital Benefit for each Day of Confinement in the Hospital but not exceeding ninety (90) days for any one Covered Injury or Covered Illness in respect of the Same Confinement.

  • If, for Medically Necessary treatment of an Emergency Medical Condition, the Insured is admitted as an In-Patient to a hospital which meets all the conditions of a Hospital as defined in this Policy except that it is not approved by the Company (refer to (iii) of definition of “Hospital”), we shall deem it an admission to a hospital meeting our definition, provided that such Confinement is no more than 5 Days in respect of the Same Confinement.

Related to Same Confinement

  • Hospital Confinement or “Confined” shall mean the status of staying in a Hospital as an in-patient for medical treatment upon the recommendation of a Physician for a minimum continuous period of 24 hours prior to discharge.

  • Confinement means total or partial confinement.

  • Total confinement means confinement inside the physical

  • Partial confinement means confinement for no more than one

  • URGENT CARE CENTER means a healthcare center either affiliated with a hospital or other institution or independently owned and operated. These centers may also be referred to as walk-in centers.

It includes all functions that pertain to the procurement of any supply, service, or construction item, including description of requirements, selection and solicitation of sources, preparation and award of contract, and all phases of contract administration;

  • LOCKHEED XXXXXX Procurement Representative means a person authorized by LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.

  • HRS means the Hawaii Revised Statutes.

  • Training means instruction or teaching designed to impart a specific skill, as opposed to general knowledge.

  • Helpdesk Support means the 24x7x365 centre which shall handle Fault reporting, Trouble Ticketing and related enquiries during this contract.

  • Customer Care Centre means a department or a section or a facility established under sub-regulation (1) of regulation 25 by the distributor of television for addressing service requests, answering queries, recording of complaints, and redressal of grievances of consumers, by telephonic or electronic means or by any other means.

  • Project Management Plan means the management plan that (i) sets out a high level workplan to describe the manner in which the Design-Builder will manage the Project, including to address related matters such as traffic management and communications, and (ii) is prepared by or for the Design-Builder and submitted to the Owner;
