All employees must meet the weapons qualification requirements on the requested weapon(s) established by any DoD or other U.S. government agency, Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC); Rules for the Use of Force (RUF), as defined in the U.S. CENTCOM Policy, dated 23 December 2005; and distinction between the above-prescribed RUF and the Rules of Engagement (ROE), which are applicable only to military forces.
Incumbent must be thoroughly familiar with the employment of deadly force and all restrictions on the use of deadly force, and must comply with Idaho Military Division Standing Rules of Engagement (SROE) and Standing Rules on Use of Force (SRUF) while in a duty status.
This authorisation shall include the powers to amend the planning documents, including the Operations Plan, the Chain of Command and the Rules of Engagement.
