Examples of REIT Charter in a sentence
For purposes of the preceding sentence, "capital stock" means any equity securities (including Common Stock and Preferred Stock (as such terms are defined in the REIT Charter), depository shares, interests, participation or other ownership interests (however designated) and any rights (other than debt securities convertible into or exchangeable for equity securities) or options to purchase any of the foregoing.

If the General Partner acquires additional REIT Shares pursuant to Article IX of the REIT Charter, the Partnership shall purchase from the General Partner that number of Partnership Units determined by applying the Conversion Multiple to the number of REIT Shares purchased by the General Partner at the same price and on the same terms as those upon which the General Partner purchased such REIT Shares.
The Contributor acknowledges the additional restrictions on Transfer imposed by the REIT Charter and the Partnership Agreement.
Any REIT Shares to be issued pursuant to this Agreement will have been duly authorized by the REIT and, when issued against the consideration therefor, will be validly issued, fully paid and non-assessable, free and clear of all Liens created by the REIT (other than any Liens created by the REIT Charter).
