Redenomination Date definition

Redenomination Date means (in the case of interest bearing Notes) any date for payment of interest under the Notes or (in the case of Zero Coupon Notes) any date, in each case specified by the Issuer in the notice given to the Noteholders pursuant to paragraph (a) above and which falls on or after the date on which the country of the Specified Currency first participates in the third stage of European economic and monetary union; and

  • Where redenomination is specified in the applicable Final Terms as being applicable, the Issuer may, without the consent of the Noteholders or Couponholders, on giving prior notice to the Paying Agents, Euroclear and Clearstream, Luxembourg and/or as the case may be, the Registrar, and at least 30 days' prior notice to the Noteholders in accordance with Condition 14 (Notices), elect that, with effect from the Redenomination Date specified in the notice, the Notes shall be redenominated in euro.

Redenomination Date means (in the case of interest bearing Covered Bonds) any date for payment of interest under the Covered Bonds or (in the case of Zero Coupon Covered Bonds) any date, in each case specified by the Issuer in the notice given to the Covered Bondholders pursuant to Condition 5.8(a) (Redenomination) above and which falls on or after the date on which the country of the relevant Specified Currency first participates in the third stage of European economic and monetary union.
Redenomination Date means (in the case of interest bearing Notes) any date for payment of interest under the Notes or (in the case of Zero Coupon Notes) any date, in each case specified by the Issuer in the notice given to the Trustee and the Noteholders pursuant to paragraph (a) above and which falls on or after the date on which the country of the Specified Currency starts to participate in the third stage of European economic and monetary union pursuant to the Treaty and which falls before the date on which the Specified Currency ceases to be a sub-division of the euro.
