Qualified Housing Developer definition

Qualified Housing Developer means a non-profit or for-profit organization with the ability to secure low-income housing tax credits and affordable housing financing and to develop Affordable Units consistent with the character and quality of the Residential Projects in the Project Site and with the Redevelopment Requirements.
Qualified Housing Developer has the meaning set forth in the DDA as follows: non-profit or for-profit organizations selected by TIDA or TIHDI, as applicable, with members that have the financial and staffing capacity to develop affordable housing consistent with the character and quality of the Redevelopment Requirements and the Residential Projects, and a history of successful affordable housing development, demonstrated by the completion of not less than 75 affordable housing units or 2 affordable housing projects in the previous 7 years.
Qualified Housing Developer means: organizations including governmental or quasi-governmental agencies, nonprofits and limited partnership with the financial capacity and experience and a proven history of developing Low IncomeAffordable Homes consistent with the character and quality of the Residential Projects, the Development Agreement and this Affordable Housing Plan. The County has approved MidPen Housing Corporation as a Qualified Housing Developer.

  • Per Section 8116-3.2 of the VCNCZO, nothing can limit or require the provision of direct financial incentives by the County for the Qualified Housing Developer, including the provision of publically owned land, or the waiver of fees or dedication requirements.

  • Multifamily housing means housing accommodations designed as a residence for more than 1 family.

  • Affordable housing development means a development included in the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan, and includes, but is not limited to, an inclusionary development, a municipal construction project or a 100 percent affordable development.
