Product Specific Invention definition

Product Specific Invention is defined in Section 9.3(c).
Product Specific Invention means an invention, whether patentable or not, that (a) is made by (i) Sangamo in carrying out the Research Program or Manufacturing ZFP Products for DAS or Sublicensees pursuant to Section 7.1 or (ii) DAS or its Affiliates or Sublicensees under this Agreement and (b) is specific to (i) a ZFP Product that is directed to a particular DNA sequence in a plant and solely useful for modifying the sequence or expression of a gene in such plant related to such DNA sequence, or (ii) the modified form of such DNA sequence (or the modified protein encoded by such modified DNA sequence) as found in the resulting Licensed Product.
Product Specific Invention means any invention within a Party’s Separately Developed IP, the practice of which necessarily includes the Collaboration Product, including composition of matter or method of treatment claims. The rights and obligations set forth in Section 12.5(g), rather than the rights and obligations set forth in Article 20, shall apply to all Separately Developed IP.

More Definitions of Product Specific Invention

Product Specific Invention means an invention, whether patentable or not, that (a) is made by (i) Sangamo in carrying out the Research Program or Manufacturing ZFP Products for DAS or Sublicensees pursuant to Section 7.1 or (ii) DAS or its Affiliates or Sublicensees under this Agreement and (b) is specific to (i) a ZFP Product that is directed to a particular DNA sequence in a plant and solely useful for modifying the sequence or expression of a gene in such plant related to such DNA sequence, or (ii) the modified form of such DNA sequence (or the modified protein encoded by such modified DNA sequence) as found in the resulting Licensed Product, or (iii) the native form of the DNA sequence of Material provided by DAS pursuant to Section 10.8 or the protein encoded by such native DNA sequence.
Product Specific Invention means any invention within the Onyx Developed IP, the practice of which necessarily includes the Product, including composition of matter or method of treatment claims.

Related to Product Specific Invention

  • Project Specific IPRs means: (a) IPRs in the Services provided by the Supplier (or by a third party on behalf of the Supplier) specifically for the purposes of the Contract and all updates and amendments of these items created during the Contract Period; and/or (b) IPRs arising as a result of the provision of the Services by the Supplier (or by a third party on behalf of the Supplier) under the Contract, [including the rights in or to any database developed and supplied by the Supplier to the Customer in accordance with the terms of this Contract;

  • Product Specification means a product specification for a Medical Device set out in Schedule 2;

  • Manufacturing Know-How means, with respect to the Product or any Variant thereof, the technology, data, designs, processes, methods, specifications and other know-how used in connection with the formulation, manufacture, labeling, packaging, quality control, release testing, and production of the Product, and all ingredients used therein and portions thereof.

  • Product Specifications means the specifications, features and/or terms of any "Contract" (as defined in the LME Rules) listed for trading on the LME, as described in the LME Rules;

  • Milk product or "dairy product" means cottage cheese, dry curd cottage cheese, reduced fat cottage cheese, lowfat cottage cheese, cream, light cream, light whipping cream, heavy cream, heavy whipping cream, whipped cream, whipped light cream, sour cream, acidified sour cream, cultured sour cream, half-and-half, sour half-and-half, acidified sour half-and-half, cultured sour half-and-half, reconstituted or recombined milk and milk products, concentrated milk, concentrated milk products, skim milk, lowfat milk, frozen milk concentrate, flavored milk, eggnog, buttermilk, cultured milk, cultured lowfat milk, cultured skim milk, yogurt, lowfat yogurt, nonfat yogurt, acidified milk, acidified lowfat milk, acidified skim milk, low-sodium milk, low-sodium lowfat milk, low-sodium skim milk, lactose-reduced milk, lactose-reduced lowfat milk, lactose-reduced skim milk, aseptically processed and packaged milk, milk products with added safe and suitable microbial organisms, and any other milk product made by the addition or subtraction of milkfat or addition of safe and suitable optional ingredients for protein, vitamin, or mineral fortification. Unless a product is considered a milk product under this subdivision, milk product does not include dietary products, infant formula, ice cream or other desserts, cheese, or butter.   • Manufacturing Technology means any and all patents, patent applications, Know-How, and all intellectual property rights associated therewith, and including all tangible embodiments thereof, that are necessary or useful for the manufacture of adeno- associated viruses, adeno-associated virus vectors, research or commercial reagents related thereto, Licensed Products, or other products, including manufacturing processes, technical information relating to the methods of manufacture, protocols, standard operating procedures, batch records, assays, formulations, quality control data, specifications, scale up, any and all improvements, modifications, and changes thereto, and any and all activities associated with such manufacture. Any and all chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC), drug master files (DMFs), or similar materials provided to regulatory authorities and the information contained therein are deemed Manufacturing Technology.

  • Product Specific Terms means the terms applicable to a specific item of Licensed Software as set out in Schedule 2;
