Privacy and Data Security Law means any Applicable Laws relating to data privacy, data security, cybersecurity, or data protection, including with respect to the collection, storage, transmission, transfer (including cross-border transfers), processing, breach notification, unauthorized access, encryption, security, safeguarding, loss, disclosure and use of Personal Data.
Privacy and Data Security Law means any applicable data privacy, data security, or data protection law or regulation in the United States of America, including HIPAA.

  • Privacy/Data Security Laws means all laws governing the receipt, collection, use, storage, processing, sharing, security, disclosure, or transfer of Personal Information or the security of the Business Systems or Business Data.

  • Privacy and Security Requirements means (a) all Privacy Laws; (b) all applicable Privacy Contracts, and (c) all applicable Privacy Policies.

  • Limited Data Set shall have the same meaning as the term “limited data set” as set forth in as defined in 45 C.F.R. §164.514(e)(2).

  • Data Safeguards means the highest industry-standard safeguards (including administrative, physical, technical, and procedural safeguards) against the destruction, loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, or alteration of the JBE Data or Confidential Information, and such other related safeguards that are set forth in Applicable Laws, a Statement of Work, or pursuant to JBE policies or procedures.

  • Data Protection means the implementation of appropriate administrative, technical or physical means to guard against unauthorized intentional or accidental disclosure, modification, or destruction of data.

  • Data Site means an electronic password protected data site maintained by the Borrower (or by the Collateral Manager on behalf of Borrower) at Xxxxxxx Corporation, Intralinks, SyndTrak Online or any other similar electronic distribution system reasonably acceptable to the Administrative Agent.

  • Contractor information system means an information system belonging to, or operated by or for, the Contractor.

  • Mass Privacy Act is defined in Section 9.2 hereof.

  • EU Data Protection Law means (i) prior to 25 May 2018, Directive 95/46/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data ("Directive") and on and after 25 May 2018, Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR"); and (ii) Directive 2002/58/EC concerning the processing of Personal Data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector and applicable national implementations of it (as may be amended, superseded or replaced).

  • European Data Protection Laws means the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and data protection laws of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and their member states and the FADP.

  • Data Protection Acts means Data Protection Act 1988, as amended by the Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003, and as may be modified, amended, supplemented, consolidated or re- enacted from time to time;

  • Privacy Law means the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (Canada), the Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia), the Personal Information Protection Act (Alberta), the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Quebec) and any comparable Law of any other jurisdiction.

  • Privacy Policy means the terms which set out how we will deal with confidential and personal information received from you via the Website;

  • Applicable Data Protection Law means, as applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679) (as may be amended, superseded or replaced) ("GDPR") and all other supplemental or implementing laws relating to data privacy in the relevant European Union member state, including where applicable the guidance and codes of practice issued by the relevant supervisory authority, and/or all applicable analogous privacy laws of other countries;
