Police Tow definition

Police Tow means the towing of a vehicle at the direction of NCPD where the consent of the owner or operator or their agent of the vehicle is not required under existing law. This shall include, but is not limited to, the towing of vehicles that are illegally parked, abandoned, are evidence in a criminal investigation, are disabled due to a collision (pursuant to Sect. 22500 Cal. Veh. Code), mechanically disabled, or otherwise subject to the authority of NCPD.
Police Tow means the towing of a vehicle at the request of or authorization by an on-duty Police Officer, or any tow or tows resulting as an outgrowth of the Contractor being summoned to a location by a Police Officer, regardless of who at the scene requests a Vehicle to be towed.
Police Tow means an abandoned vehicle found to have been reported stolen, or having had a temporary or formal hold applied for any reason. Requires an Administrative Release from the Agency before the vehicle is released to the owner or owner’s agent, insurance company, or by means of lien foreclosure.

Examples of Police Tow in a sentence

  • Contractor must make the following information continuously available to the Gilbert Police Tow Program supervisor.

  • Contractor shall not move/relocate any police-ordered tow to another storage lot (e.g., Contractor’s secondary facility) without the written permission of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Police Tow Program supervisor.

  • Contractor shall also submit a monthly report (formal report) containing this information to the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Police Tow Program supervisor.

  • Contractor shall store vehicles but shall not move/relocate any police-ordered tow to another storage lot (i.e., Contractor’s secondary facility/grounds) without the written permission of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Police Tow Program supervisor.

  • Contractor will be responsible for removing all requested Vehicles in a Police Tow.

  • The Police Tow Supervisor will act as the Liaison between the tow company and owners of vehicles towed by the Pembroke Police in the event of any dispute or discrepancy and will investigate any and all complaints regarding police tows.

  • As a franchisee, TOWING COMPANY shall serve as an Official Police Tow Service Provider for the CITY.

  • Pursuant to the provisions Chapter 100 of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Park Municipal Code the Franchisee shall pay the City a franchise fee of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total gross revenue of an Official Police Tow Service derived from the tows assigned by the Police Department including storage of said vehicles.

  • Franchise shall annually provide the City with an income statement of Official Police Tow Service performed by the Franchisee under this agreement.

  • As of the effective date, Franchisee is an Official Police Tow Service for the City.
