Open Source Materials definition
Open Source Materials means software or other material that is distributed as “free software,” “open source software” or under similar licensing or distribution terms (including the GNU General Public License (GPL), GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), Mozilla Public License (MPL), BSD licenses, the Artistic License, the Netscape Public License, the Sun Community Source License (SCSL) the Sun Industry Standards License (SISL) and the Apache License).
Open Source Materials means any software subject to an Open Source License.
Open Source Materials has the meaning specified in Section 4.11(f).
Examples of Open Source Materials in a sentence
Except as expressly identified in Section 4.13(h)(v) of the Disclosure Schedule, no Open Source Materials subject to a Copyleft License are embedded with, linked to, or otherwise included in, or required to compile or build, or, solely in the case of Open Data, used in the development of, any Company Product or portion thereof.
The Company and each of the Subsidiaries is, and has at all times been, in compliance with all applicable Open Source Materials licenses.
The Company and each of the Subsidiaries maintains a written policy regarding its use of Open Source Materials, a copy of which has been Made Available to Parent.
