Mileage definition

Mileage means the distance traveled on a Portal to Portal basis in a Privately Owned Vehicle (POV). Mileage rates are determined by the Washington State Office of Financial Management (OFM).
Mileage refers to reimbursement for the use of a privately owned motor vehicle. Reimbursement for the use of a privately owned motor vehicle is payable to only one (1) traveler when two (2) or more travelers are traveling in the same motor vehicle on the same trip.
Mileage means reimbursement for authorized mileage when the contractor transports the client, as outlined in the Department’s service plan, to provide transportation to travel within and participate in the local community or transportation to medical providers.
