Medical advisory task force definition

Medical advisory task force or “MATF” means an advisory board utilized by the IA BCCEDP to offer knowledge and experience as related to the fields of expertise of the members of the task force. Duties of the MATF may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Medical Advice means any consultation or advice from a Medical Practitioner including the issuance of any prescription or follow-up prescription.

  • Medical control means a person who provides medical supervision to an emergency medical service provider.

  • Medical Board means the board of physicians as provided by this chapter.

  • Medical cannabis means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.

  • Medical care means amounts paid for:

  • Medical evaluation means the process of assessing an individual's health status that includes a medical history and a physical examination of an individual conducted by a licensed medical practitioner operating within the scope of his license.

  • Medical Executive Committee or “MEC” means the Executive Committee of the Medical Staff.

  • Medical personnel means those persons assigned, by a Party to the conflict, exclusively to the medical purposes enumerated under subparagraph (e) or to the administration of medical units or to the operation or administration of medical transports. Such assignments may be either permanent or temporary. The term includes:

  • Medical cannabis card means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.

  • Medical professional means a person licensed to practice

  • Technical Committee means the body established in accordance with article VII;

  • Medical Specialist means any medical practitioner who is vocationally registered by the Medical Council under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 in one of the approved branches of medicine and who is employed in either that branch of medicine or in a similar capacity with minimal oversight.

  • Medical history means information regarding any:

  • Clinical peer means a physician or other health care professional who holds a non-restricted license in a state of the United States and in the same or similar specialty as typically manages the medical condition, procedure or treatment under review.

  • Joint Development Committee or “JDC” has the meaning set forth in Section 3.10.

  • Medical event means an event that meets the criteria in 12VAC5-481-2080.

  • Licensed mental health professional or "LMHP" means a physician, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed professional counselor, licensed clinical social worker, licensed substance abuse treatment practitioner, licensed marriage and family therapist, certified psychiatric clinical nurse specialist, licensed behavior analyst, or licensed psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.
