In respect of Inflation Linked Notes, the Calculation Agent will calculate such Final Redemption Amount or Early Redemption Amount (as the case may be) promptly after each time such amount is capable of being determined and will notify the Agent thereof promptly after calculating the same.
The terms and conditions applicable to Inflation Linked Notes shall comprise the Terms and Conditions of the Notes and the additional Terms and Conditions set out below (the “Inflation Linked Conditions”), in each case subject to completion and/or amendment in the applicable Final Terms.

The Issuers may issue Notes where the amount of principal and/or interest payable are dependent upon the level of an inflation index (Inflation Linked Notes).
Upon any Fixed Rate Note, Inflation Linked Notes or Inflation Linked Amortising Note in definitive bearer form becoming due and repayable prior to its Maturity Date, all unmatured Talons (if any) appertaining thereto will become void and no further Coupons will be issued in respect thereof.
The Index Linked Notes, the Inflation Linked Notes, the Currency Linked Note, the Commodity Linked Notes, the Fund Linked Notes, the Bond Linked Notes and the Rate Linked Notes are Cash Settled Notes.
In respect of Inflation Linked Notes, these Terms and Conditions and the Inflation Linked Conditions as specified in the applicable Final Terms will be applicable.
A Long Maturity Note is a Fixed Rate Note (other than a Fixed Rate Note which on issue had a Talon attached, Inflation Linked Notes or an Inflation Linked Amortising Note) whose nominal amount on issue is less than the aggregate interest payable thereon provided that such Note shall cease to be a Long Maturity Note on the Interest Payment Date on which the aggregate amount of interest remaining to be paid after that date is less than the nominal amount of such Note.
