Formal resolution definition

Formal resolution means a written decision and, if appropriate, relief from the managing official or Commissioner regarding an inmate complaint filed under the ARP.
Formal resolution means a process in which an external or internal investigator conducts an investigation. It is a means of addressing complaints and does not require the consent of the parties.

Examples of Formal resolution in a sentence

  • If the parties do not agree to voluntarily participate, or an Informal Resolution Procedure is not deemed appropriate, the principal or designee shall determine whether to address the matter under the Formal Resolution Procedure or the Student Code of Conduct.

  • Upon completion of the investigation, the principal or designee shall report all substantiated incidents under the Formal Resolution Procedure to the Superintendent and the District Title IX/Equity Coordinator.
