EVA Improvement definition

EVA Improvement means the increase in the Corporation’s EVA for the applicable calendar year minus the Corporation’s 2011 EVA; provided, however, that the Participant shall not receive credit towards vesting under this Award Agreement for the same increase in EVA relative to the Corporation’s EVA for the 2011 calendar year more than once (see example (d) in Appendix A).
EVA Improvement means, for any Performance Year for any EVA Center, the difference between the current Performance Year’s EVA and the EVA for that same EVA Center for the immediately prior Performance Year. EVA Improvement may be a negative number.

Examples of EVA Improvement in a sentence

  • A bonus bank account is created when the EVA Improvement goal achievement is above 200% of target or below 0% of the target level.

  • Notwithstanding the above, the maximum amount that may be paid in any one year to a participant due to the EVA Improvement goal, including amounts achieved for the current year and bonus bank amounts that vest in the current year, may not exceed 400% of the EVA Improvement target incentive amount.

  • Amounts achieved in excess of 200% of target are put into an EVA Improvement bonus bank.

  • There are no thresholds and maximums for the EVA Improvement goal.

  • EVA Improvement N/A 100% N/A (unlimited downside) (unlimited upside) Incentive amounts are interpolated based on leverage (the slope of the line).

  • The Committee, in its sole discretion, may adjust any previously established Target EVA Improvement or EVA Interval for any Performance Year, provided that such adjustment must be made prior to the commencement of such Performance Year.

  • The Earned Award shall be calculated by determining the EVA Improvement for the Performance Year and comparing that with the Targeted EVA Improvement and the EVA Interval to determine the Excess EVA Improvement.

  • The Company shall notify members of the class of eligible employees of their selection for participation and the applicable Target EVA Improvement and EVA Interval for the Performance Year as promptly as practicable.

  • Prior to the commencement of each Performance Year, the Committee shall specify the Target EVA Improvement and the EVA Interval for the Company and each EVA Center.

  • Home improvement means the remodeling, altering,

  • Needs Improvement the Educator’s performance on a standard or overall is below the requirements of a standard or overall, but is not considered to be unsatisfactory at this time. Improvement is necessary and expected.  Unsatisfactory: the Educator’s performance on a standard or overall has not significantly improved following a rating of needs improvement, or the Educator’s performance is consistently below the requirements of a standard or overall and is considered inadequate, or both.

  • Licensee Improvements means any improvement, enhancement, modification, derivative work or upgrade to any of Licensor Patent Rights made, conceived, reduced to practice, affixed or otherwise developed by or on behalf of Licensee during the term of this Agreement and solely as exercised under the License.

  • Minimum Improvements means the acquisition of land and construction of a 152-unit market rate residential apartment building, construction of a stormwater pond and related improvements. The Minimum Improvements are more fully depicted in Exhibit B, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein.

  • Maximum medical improvement means that no further material improvement would reasonably be expected from medical treatment or the passage of time;

  • Site Improvements means any construction work on, or improvement to, streets, roads, parking facilities, sidewalks, drainage structures and utilities.

  • Public improvement means projects for construction, reconstruction or major renovation on real property by or for a public agency. “Public Works” shall mean roads, highways, buildings, structures and improvement of all types, the construction, reconstruction, major renovation or painting of which is carried on or contracted for by any public agency to serve the public interest by does not include the reconstruction or renovation of privately owned property which is leased by a public agency.

  • Joint Improvements has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1(d).

  • Substantial improvement means any combination of repairs, reconstruction, rehabilitation, addition, or other improvement of a structure, taking place during any one-year period for which the cost equals or exceeds 50 percent of the market value of the structure before the “start of construction” of the improvement. This term includes structures which have incurred “substantial damage”, regardless of the actual repair work performed. The term does not, however, include either:

  • Public improvement costs means the costs of:

  • Project Improvements means site improvements and facilities that are:

  • Infrastructure improvement means permanent infrastructure that is essential for the public health and safety or that:

  • Capital Improvement or "Capital Improvement Project" means the acquisition, construction, reconstruction, improvement, planning and equipping of roads and bridges, wastewater treatment facilities, water supply systems, solid waste disposal facilities, and storm water and sanitary collection, storage and treatment facilities of Local Subdivisions, including real property, interests in real property, and facilities and equipment of Local Subdivisions related or incidental thereto.

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Tenant Improvement Work means the construction of the Tenant Improvements, together with any related work (including demolition) that is necessary to construct the Tenant Improvements.

  • Improvement Costs means any additional expenditure on a fixed asset that materially increases the capacity of the asset or materially improves its functioning or represents more than 10% of the initial depreciation base of the asset;

  • Improvement Plan means the plan required by the Authority from the Supplier which shall detail how the Supplier will improve the provision of the Goods and/or Services pursuant to Clause 29.1.1 (Authority Remedies);

  • Quality Improvement means a focus on activities to improve performance above minimum standards and reasonably expected levels of performance, quality and practice.

  • Capital Improvement Project means the acquisition, construction, reconstruction, improvement, planning and equipping of roads and bridges, appurtenances to roads and bridges to enhance the safety of animal-drawn vehicles, pedestrians, and bicycles, wastewater treatment facilities, water supply systems, solid waste disposal facilities, and storm water and sanitary collection, storage and treatment facilities including real property, interests in real property, facilities, and equipment related or incidental to those facilities.

  • Private Improvements means the improvements to be constructed on the Property that are not Public Improvements.

  • Substitute Improvements means the substitute or additional improvements of the Issuer described in Article V hereof.

  • Energy efficiency improvement means equipment, devices, or materials intended to decrease energy consumption, including, but not limited to, all of the following:

  • Public Improvements means only the following improvements: housing facilities; garbage disposal plants; rubbish disposal plants; incinerators; transportation systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; sewage disposal systems, including sanitary sewers, combined sanitary and storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of sewage or industrial wastes; storm water systems, including storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of storm water; water supply systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with obtaining a water supply, the treatment of water, or the distribution of water; utility systems for supplying light, heat, or power, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; approved cable television systems, approved cable communication systems, or telephone systems, including plants, works,

  • Leasehold Improvements means all buildings, structures, improvements and fixtures located on any Leased Real Property which are owned by Company or any Company Subsidiary, regardless of whether title to such buildings, structures, improvements or fixtures are subject to reversion to the landlord or other third party upon the expiration or termination of the lease for such Leased Real Property.

  • Improvements means the buildings, structures, improvements, and alterations now constructed or at any time in the future constructed or placed upon the Land, including any future replacements and additions.

  • Improvement means the acquisition, construction, installation, or maintenance of any tangible property with an estimated useful life of five years or more including, but not limited to, the following:
