Dividend Unit Right definition

Dividend Unit Right means a contingent right, granted in tandem with a specific Restricted Stock Unit Award, to have an additional number of Restricted Stock Units credited to a Participant in respect of the Award equal to the number of whole shares of Common Stock that could be purchased at Fair Market Value upon, and with the amount of, each cash distribution made by the Company during the period such Award is outstanding with respect to a number of shares of Common Stock equal to the number of Restricted Stock Units subject to the Award at the time of each such distribution.
Dividend Unit Right means a contingent right, granted in tandem with a specific Restricted Unit Award, to have an additional number of Restricted Units credited to a Participant in respect of the Award equal to the number of Membership Units that could be purchased at Fair Market Value with the amount of each cash distribution made by the Company with respect to a Membership Unit during the period such Award is outstanding.

  • Dividend Equivalent Unit means the right to receive a payment, in cash or Shares, equal to the cash dividends or other cash distributions paid with respect to a Share.

  • Share Unit means a unit credited by means of an entry on the books of the Corporation to a Participant pursuant to the Plan, representing the right to receive, subject to and in accordance with the Plan, for each Vested Share Unit one Share, at the time, in the manner, and subject to the terms, set forth in the Plan and the applicable Grant Agreement;

  • Dividend Equivalent Rights means certain rights to receive cash payments as described in Section 3.5.

  • Deferred Share Unit or “DSU” means a unit equivalent in value to a Share, credited by means of a bookkeeping entry in the books of the Corporation in accordance with Article 7;

  • DSUs means the deferred share units granted under the DSU Plan;

  • Stock Unit means a bookkeeping entry representing the equivalent of one Common Share, as awarded under the Plan.

  • Dividend Parity Stock means any class or series of stock of the Corporation that ranks on a parity with the Series E in the payment of current dividends, including the Series A, the Series B, the Series C and the Series D.

  • Dividend Equivalents means a right granted to a Participant under the Plan to receive the equivalent value (in cash or Shares) of dividends paid on Shares.

  • Performance Stock means a Target Number of Shares granted pursuant to Section 10(a) of the Plan.

  • Stock Units means investment units under the Deferred Delivery Plan, each of which is deemed to be equivalent to one share of Stock.

  • Phantom Share means a right, pursuant to the Plan, of the Grantee to payment of the Phantom Share Value.

  • Restricted Share Unit means the right granted to a Participant pursuant to Article 7 to receive a Share at a future date.

  • Phantom Unit means a notional Unit granted under the Plan which upon vesting entitles the Participant to receive, at the time of settlement, a Unit or an amount of cash equal to the Fair Market Value of a Unit, as determined by the Committee in its sole discretion.

  • Phantom Shares means an Award of the right to receive Shares issued at the end of a Restricted Period which is granted pursuant to Section 6(e) of the Plan.

  • Dividend Shares means the shares of Common Stock issuable in payment of dividends payable on the Preferred Shares in accordance with the terms of the Certificate of Designation.

  • Phantom Stock Unit means the right to receive the value of one (1) share of the Company’s Common Stock, subject to the provisions of Section 8.4 of the Plan.

  • Phantom means a volume of material behaving in a manner similar to tissue with respect to the attenuation and scattering of radiation. This requires that both the atomic number (Z) and the density of the material be similar to that of tissue.

  • Deferred Share means a Share which by its terms of issue is a deferred share as defined in the Statutes and includes a permanent interest bearing share and a Core Capital Deferred Share;

  • Restricted Share Unit Award means a right to receive Ordinary Shares which is granted pursuant to the terms and conditions of Section 6(b).
