Discriminate definition

Discriminate means to accord different treatment to different persons solely or mainly as a result of their disabilities and includes using words, gestures or caricatures that demean, scandalise or embarrass a person with a disability;
Discriminate means to dismiss an employee or to engage in any other conduct which has the effect of prejudicing or disadvantaging the employee, or which prejudices or disadvantages the employee relative to other employees; and
Discriminate means, without limitation, to: fail or refuse to hire, discharge, or otherwise discriminate against any person with respect to the compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, or; exclude from participation in, deny the benefits of, or subject to discrimination under any GRANTEE program or activity. Discriminate means, with respect to a specified Person, to change the rights of such specified Person as compared to other applicable Persons in a manner that is, or is reasonably expected to be, materially and adversely different than the changes to the rights of the other applicable Persons.
