Convenience Claims definition

Convenience Claims means those General Unsecured Claims in Class 7 herein, as described in Section III.B.9.
Convenience Claims means a Claim that otherwise would be a General Unsecured Claim included in Class 13, but (a) the amount of such Claim is equal to or less than $2,500 or (b) the Holder of such Claim, in full settlement of such Claim, agrees, by the applicable voting deadline as specified in the Disclosure Statement, pursuant to an election made by such Holder on its Ballot, to reduce such Claim to $2,500.
Convenience Claims means General Unsecured Claims that otherwise would be classified in Class 3 or Class 4, but, with respect to such Claims, either (a) the aggregate amount of all such Claims for any holder is equal to or less than $2,500 or (b) the aggregate amount of all such Claims for any holder is reduced to $2,500 pursuant to an election by the Claim holder made on the Ballot provided for voting on the Plan by the Voting Deadline; provided, however, that where any portion of any Claim held by such holder has been transferred to a transferee(s), unless such holder and all transferees of such Claim make the Convenience Claim election on their respective Ballot, the Convenience Claim election will not be recognized for such Claim. Any such election will be final and irrevocable and no Claim holder shall be entitled to change, revoke or withdraw its election after making such election on their respective Ballot.

More Definitions of Convenience Claims

Convenience Claims means General Unsecured Claims against any of the Debtors that otherwise would be classified in Classes 8A, 8B or 8C, but, with respect to each such Claim, either (a) the aggregate amount of such Claim is equal to or less than $20,000 or (b) the aggregate amount of such Claim is reduced to $20,000 pursuant to an election by the Holder of a Claim made on the Ballot provided for voting on the Plan by the Voting Deadline; provided, however, that where any portion(s) of a single Claim has been transferred to a transferee, (a) the amount of all such portions will be aggregated to determine whether a Claim qualifies as a Convenience Claim and for purposes of the Convenience Claim election and (b) unless all transferees make the Convenience Claim election on the applicable Ballots, the Convenience Claim election will not be recognized for such Claim.
Convenience Claims means (a) any general unsecured Claim against the Group A Debtors (other than Unsecured Note Claims and Prepetition Credit Agreement Deficiency Claims) that otherwise would be a Class 5A Claim, but, with respect to each such Claim the aggregate amount of such Claim is equal to or less than $10,000 or (b) any Class 5A Claim in excess of $10,000, which the Holder thereof, pursuant to such Holder’s Ballot or such other election accepted by the Debtors, elects to have reduced to the amount of $10,000 or less and to be treated as a Convenience Claim.
Convenience Claims means an unsecured, nonpriority Claim (other than a COLA Note Claim) as of the Petition Date in the amount of $500 or less; provided, however, that if the Holder of an unsecured, nonpriority Claim (other than a COLA Note Claim) in an amount greater than $500 shall make an election to reduce such Claim to $500, such Claim shall be treated as a Convenience Claim for all purposes. Such election shall be made on the ballot for accepting or rejecting the Plan, completed and returned within the time fixed by order of the Bankruptcy Court.
