Collateral Investment definition

Collateral Investment means, as at any date of determination, (a) if as at such date the proceeds of the Notes (or the remainder thereof) are held in the Principal Collections Account, the cash deposit thereunder, or (b) if as at such date the proceeds of the Notes (or the remainder thereof) are invested in Repo Collateral pursuant to a Repurchase Agreement, the investment thereunder.
Collateral Investment has the meaning set out in Section 2.17.
Collateral Investment means, as at any date of determination, (a) the cash deposit in the Principal Collections Account and/or (b) the Collateral Securities.

More Definitions of Collateral Investment

Collateral Investment shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.1 of this Agreement.
Collateral Investment means, as at any date of determination, (i) if as at such date any proceeds of the Notes (or the remainder thereof) are held in Bank Deposits, the cash deposit(s) thereunder, (ii) if as at such date any proceeds of the Notes (or the remainder thereof) are invested in Certificates of Deposit, each such Certificate of Deposit (iii) if as at such date any proceeds of the Notes (or the remainder thereof) are invested in securities pursuant to a repurchase agreement entered into on such terms as shall be agreed between the Issuer, the Swap Counterparty, the Custodian, the Note Trustee (acting on the instructions of the Noteholders by way of Extraordinary Resolution) and the relevant Repo Counterparty, each such repurchase agreement or (iv) (if as at such date any proceeds of the Notes (or the remainder thereof) are held in the Principal Collections Account pursuant to Clause 3 (Failure to satisfy the Collateral Switch Conditions) of the Collateral Switch Deed only, the cash deposit thereunder).
Collateral Investment means, as at any date of determination, the cash deposit held in the Principal Collections Account.

  • Collateral Invested Amount means, when used with respect to any date, an amount equal to (a) the Collateral Initial Invested Amount, minus (b) the aggregate amount of principal payments made to the Collateral Interest Holder prior to such date, minus (c) the aggregate amount of Collateral Charge-Offs for all prior Distribution Dates pursuant to subsection 4.06(c), minus (d) the aggregate amount of Reallocated Principal Collections allocated on all prior Distribution Dates pursuant to Section 4.08 allocable to the Collateral Invested Amount, minus (e) an amount equal to the amount by which the Collateral Invested Amount has been reduced on all prior Distribution Dates pursuant to subsections 4.06(a) and (b), and plus (f) the amount allocated and available on all prior Distribution Dates pursuant to subsection 4.07(i), for the purpose of reimbursing amounts deducted pursuant to the foregoing clauses (c), (d) and (e); provided, however, that the Collateral Invested Amount may not be reduced below zero.

  • Specified Investments means (a) direct obligations of the United States of America or obligations fully guaranteed by the United States of America; (b) commercial paper rated A-1/P-1 by S&P and Moody's, respectively or, if such ratings are unavailable, rated by any nationally recognized rating organization in the United States equal to the highest rating assigned by such rating organization; (c) investments in negotiable certificates of deposit, time deposits, banker's acceptances, commercial paper or other direct obligations of, or obligations guaranteed by, commercial banks organized under the laws of the United States or of any political subdivision thereof (or any U.S. branch of a foreign bank) with issuer ratings of at least B/C by Thomson Bankwatch, having maturities no later than 90 days following the date of such investment; (d) overnight federal funds transactions with members of the Federal Reserve System arranged by federal funds brokers; or (e) overnight repurchase agreements with respect to the securities described in clause (a) above entered into with an office of a bank or trust company which is located in the United States of America or any bank or trust company which is organized under the laws of the United States or any state thereof and has capital, surplus and undivided profits aggregating at least $500 million.   • Investment Assets means all debentures, notes and other evidences of Indebtedness, stocks, securities (including rights to purchase and securities convertible into or exchangeable for other securities), interests in joint ventures and general and limited partnerships, mortgage loans and other investment or portfolio assets owned of record or beneficially by the Company or any Subsidiary.

  • Investment pool means an entity created under the Texas Gov- ernment Code to invest public funds jointly on behalf of the entities that participate in the pool and whose investment objectives in or- der of priority are preservation and safety of principal, liquidity, and yield.

  • Permitted Investment means an Investment by the Company or any Restricted Subsidiary in:

  • covered investment means, with respect to a Party, an investment in its territory of an investor of the other Party in existence as of the date of entry into force of this Treaty or established, acquired, or expanded thereafter.

  • Acceptable Collateral means any of the following assets of Borrower, if (x) held in or credited to any Collateral Account subject to a first priority Lien under the applicable Security Agreement and (y) the Collateral Requirement has been satisfied with respect thereto:

  • Additional Collateral Any of the following held, in addition to the related Mortgaged Property, as security for a Mortgage Loan: (i) all money, securities, security entitlements, accounts, general intangibles, payment rights, instruments, documents, deposit accounts, certificates of deposit, commodities contracts and other investment property and other property of whatever kind or description now existing or hereafter acquired which is pledged as security for the repayment of such Mortgage Loan, (ii) third-party guarantees, and (A) all money, securities, security entitlements, accounts, general intangibles, payment rights, instruments, documents, deposit accounts, certificates of deposit, commodities contracts and other investment property and other property of whatever kind or description now existing or hereafter acquired which is pledged as collateral for such guarantee or (B) any mortgaged property securing the performance of such guarantee, or (iii) such other collateral as may be set forth in the Series Supplement.

  • Liquidity Account Investments means Deposit Securities or any other security or investment owned by the Fund that is rated not less than A3 by Moody’s, A- by Standard & Poor’s, A- by Fitch or an equivalent rating by any other NRSRO (or any such rating’s future equivalent).

  • Eligible Collateral means, with respect to a party, the items, if any, specified as such for that party in Paragraph 13.

  • Asset Pool means a pool of cash-flow generating assets in which an issuer of a securitized product has a direct or indirect ownership or security interest;

  • Investment Vehicle means a corporation, partnership, limited partnership, limited liability company, association, or other entity, either domestic or foreign, managed by an external manager in which a board is the majority investor and that is organized in order to invest with, or retain the investment management services of, other external managers.
