Common use of Work Week/Full-time Employees Clause in Contracts

Work Week/Full-time Employees. The normal basic work week for regular full-time employees shall be forty (40) hours to be worked in five (5) consecutive days at eight (8) hours per day, from Monday to Friday. The employees’ shifts shall be either of the following three (3) shifts: 6:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. or 6:30 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. 6:00 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. (9.5 hours pay) The Employer may change employees’ shifts upon providing at least two (2) weeks’ notice to the employees and to the Union. In the event of substantive changes to the shift times, seniority will govern regarding choice of shift, provided the employees are able to do the required work.
