Validating Educational Credentials Sample Clauses

Validating Educational Credentials. ● How the Respondent validates staff’s resume stated education. In general, when NTT DATA hires an individual, we conduct a background check using the services of a third-party vendor that specializes in this type of work. Specific aspects of the background check will vary according to the needs and expectations of NTT DATA and the State agency where we anticipate placing the candidate. Typical aspects include verifying educational credentials, validation of past employers, drug screening, and/or a criminal background check. Overall, we use about 80 different background check “packages” that we have developed with our third-party vendor, each tailored to the master service agreements we have reached with the clients we serve and NTT DATA. In addition to these hiring stage background checks, NTT DATA also conducts a background check when we reassign an employee to a different client that has this requirement. (Not all do; some prefer to conduct their own checks.) As we indicated in Section A.2, Employee Assessment and Screening Process, we will conduct a background check of every person we assign according to the State’s expectations.
