  • Misuse of TINs If the requester discloses or uses TINs in violation of federal law, the requester may be subject to civil and criminal penalties.   • Calculation of Time For the purposes of this Agreement, “days” refers to calendar days unless otherwise specified.

  • Computation of Time In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by procedures herein, the date of the act, event, or default for which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. The last day of the period so computed shall be counted, unless it is a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday.

  • Calculation of Time Period When calculating the period of time before which, within which or following which any act is to be done or step taken pursuant to this Agreement, the date that is the reference date in calculating such period shall be excluded. If the last day of such period is a non-Business Day, the period in question shall end on the next succeeding Business Day.

  • Devotion of Time The Directors shall not be obligated and shall not be expected to devote all of their time or business efforts to the affairs of the Company (except, to the extent appropriate, in their capacity as employees of the Company).

  • Extension of Time Limits The time limits referred to in this Article may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties in writing.

  • Calculation of Time Periods Unless otherwise specified, in computing any period of time described in this Agreement, the day of the act or event after which the designated period of time begins to run is not to be included and the last day of the period so computed is to be included, unless such last day is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday under the laws of the State in which the Property is located, in which event the period shall run until the end of the next day which is neither a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday. The final day of any such period shall be deemed to end at 5 p.m., local time.

  • Extension of Time STATE may extend the time for performance of this contract upon written request from PURCHASER or upon STATE's own motion. Except as provided in Section 29, a request for extension: • shall be accompanied by the written consent to an extension of the security by PURCHASER's surety; • shall state the date to which the extension is desired, the area of the operations to be affected, and the reason(s) for the extension; and • must be received by STATE no later than 30 days prior to the expiration date of this contract unless the need for extension occurred within the 30 days prior to the expiration date, in which case the request must be received prior to the expiration date. Requests for extension may be granted for any reason except changes in timber market conditions. STATE shall grant a request for an extension only when it determines that extension would be in the best interests of STATE. In no event shall an extension exceed one year. When STATE grants a request for extension, it may condition that grant upon any condition it determines is necessary to protect the interests of the STATE. Such conditions may include, but may not be limited to, the following:

  • Computation of Time Periods In this Agreement in the computation of periods of time from a specified date to a later specified date, the word “from” means “from and including” and the words “to” and “until” each mean “to but excluding”.

  • Extension of time for completion (i) Without prejudice to any other provision of this Agreement for and in respect of extension of time, the Contractor shall be entitled to extension of time in the Project Completion Schedule (the “Time Extension”) to the extent that completion of any Project Milestone is or will be delayed by any of the following, namely:
