Unpaid Carer’s Leave. a) If an employee has exhausted their paid sick leave entitlement under Clause 28.2, he/she is entitled to take up to 2 days unpaid carer’s leave to provide care and support for members of the employee’s immediate family or a member of the employee’s household who need the employee’s care and support when they are ill or injured, or in the case of an unexpected emergency affecting the employee.
